Between new clients and governmental contracts, Trident Security has grown in leaps and bounds. To accommodate the increased caseload, they’ve added a second team to their Tampa headquarters. After hiring seven “best of the best” from military and law enforcement backgrounds, they’ve put together a cracker-jack group of six men and one woman. But before they are turned out to handle their own … missions, they must first prove they are a cohesive and capable unit.
Dropped into the Rocky Mountains, the Omega team has minimal supplies and two days to make it back to civilization. But what they find in the wilderness turns a training op into a real one. Will they all make it back alive?
***This novella is a bridge between the original Trident Security (TS) Series and the spin off series, Trident Security Omega Team. While it is not necessary to read the original TS series or this prequel before the Omega Team series, it will give the reader more insight and background of the members of Trident Security.

A great introduction of all the members of Team Omega that has you waiting for their own individual stories to be told.
Time to drop in on the Omega Team and learn their secrets!
Mountain of Evil is a grey little nugget to introduce us to the team that the original sexy Six Pack out together to help cover all the contracts they have.
During their final training mission before going operational, they are drafted in to help find a missing hiker.
Loved meeting the team. They embrace their different strengths and having Lindsay along means that they can blend in easier during certain missions were couples are better. But she is no mere window-dressing – she is a tough as nails, smart, kickass warrior in her own right!
OMG!!! Where to start!! Samantha has a way of just hooking you from the first page and reeling you into her story. Set in the Colorado mountains, we get to meet team members of the new Omega Team that is part of Trident Security. They are suppose to be just training but it turns into a real mission when they are asked to help find a lost hiker. Little do they know the will face down some really bad guys to save the woman they are trying to find. I love the fact that we get to see some of the original members of Samantha’s Trident Security series and their wives. Loved the book and I can’t wait for more stories in this series!! Samantha has become one of my very favorite authors!!! Get this book, you won’t regret it!!!
Mountain of Evil
Trident Security: Omega Team #0.5
by Samantha A. Cole
Narrated by Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire
I am so excited to meet the Omega Team for Trident Security in audio!!! I have been waiting for this novella knowing more will be coming by the talented Samantha A Cole. Her books always have me on the edge of my seat and this introduction to the new characters is no exception. We meet them as they are on a final training mission, but little did they know that this mission would turn into so much more! A female hiker is missing, and it’s up to the team to find her. And boy do they show off their skills! Tracking down the girl, and finding out the situation and taking it into hand seems like old hat for this team, and proves just how valuable this new team is going to be! I love how we have 6 men and 1 woman, and Lindsay definitely holds her own. I can’t wait to hear each of their stories!
Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire begin this series with their fantastic narration. This team is so good together, smooth and crisp, they fall into characters and bring the story to life. I am looking forward to hearing them do this series!
Loved this Prequel to the Omega series. We’ve seen a few of these characters before in the Trident series, but there is more depth here in this novella but at the same time you have quite the unexpected rescue on the side of a mountain. Loved all the interaction and the dialogue. I’m binge reading this series currently.
I voluntarily reviewed this book.
This is the perfect bridge between the Trident Security Series and Team Omega. It gives the reader insight as to the background of the new members but at the same time it is a story in itself dealing with a kidnapping/bank robbery and murder. I have always loved Team Alpha and cannot wait to see where Samantha A. Cole goes with this group. A must read!!
I’m always a little nervous when an author announces a spin off series from one that I already adore, with the main focus on a new cast of characters. I’m happy to say that I was thrilled with Samantha A Cole’s Mountain of Evil. I can already tell that I am going to love the Omega Team.
Almost ready to start handling cases on their own, Trident’s new Omega Team just has to make it through one final team building test . . . finding their way as a team out of the Rockies after being dropped in by helicopter with minimal supplies. What starts as a training mission quickly becomes more when they are alerted to be on the lookout for a missing hiker.
Mallory is a seasoned hiker and often takes off during the week to photograph nature in the Rockies. She’s never run into trouble until now, and realizes it will take all of her wits and survival training to make it out of the mountains alive.
With lives on the line, it’s up to the Omega Team to save the day. Will they be able to find Mallory and make it to safety before it’s too late or will this training mission end before they make it back to civilization?
This cross-over prequel has me very excited to continue the Trident Security series with the Omega Team. Samantha A Cole does a brilliant job of introducing readers to the new team and giving readers a glimpse into their personalities leaving us wanting more. As a fan of the original series, it was also a relief to know that we can expect our favorite characters from the original sexy six pack to make appearances in this spin off series as well. I can’t wait for Book One: Dead Man’s Pulse! 5 stars
I have to start saying the cover of MOE is amazing!! it feels like the covers of Samantha are getting better and better and let’s not mention the whole series of TS and now the Omega team.. MOE is an introduction book where you will get to meet all the new characters on the TS Omega team .. they are so many new hot guys and of coarse a few great ladies or should we say bad a**es …. as i was saying in MOE you can find all the new characters plus a little introduction of all of them not to mention that you may even get a glimpse of where their love lives are heading too .. MOE is a book you should definitely read even if you are already a fan of TS because like i say in this book Samantha give us a list of every single character (important character) what they do, if they are married, if they have a submissive or a Dominant, if they have kids and all the info you should know … but wait thats not all, we get to see in MOE.. we also see more action between the sheets with Ian and Angie .. i have to admit reading about them again made me feel like i wan to re-read “his angel”… Ian is one of my favorite characters as he really transpire alpha male all over after all he is the boss and he knows how to direct orders 😉 if you know what i mean .. .. we also get to see the omega team in action .. one of their “first” missions trying to find mallory, a girl who was a the wrong place, at the wrong time when three bank robbers kidnap her and promise to not only kills her but …. ok no more spoilers … in less words read MOE you are going to be blown away with this new chapter of the TS Omega team .. i can’t wait to read more .. thank you Samantha for keeping us always wanting more …
Ok talk about a little intense. What a super way to get us ready for the Omega Series. WE get introduced and get to know the members of the new team. When a training exercise turns into a rescue mission the story really ramps up. Heart pounding and sitting on the edge of your seat action. If you loved Trident Security series you will love the Omega Team
What a start to a new team! On a final routine training mission, set to get to know their teammates better & encourage trust, everything takes a turn. A hiker has been reported missing. She’s no ordinary hiker. Her father & uncle have given her self defense training. What follows is a riveting tale of courage & bravery. Ms. Cole has managed once again to pull me into a story so deep that when I surface, the book is finished & I’m way past my bedtime! I can’t wait for the next story!

Best Prequel Ever

I volunteered to read an ARC
Ian & Devon Sawyer have built Trident Security into a first class PI and military agency. Business is so good they are
having to add a second team.
In MOE, a prequel to the Omega Team series, we get a concise, well thought out book. I already feel as if I know the new players and I have to say I’m loving these new characters.
This was a great introduction to the new series with good flow and characters I think everyone will come to love.
Set down in the Rockies, the team has two days to make it to their extraction point and prove they are ready to be on their own. While they work together to accomplish this goal they are tasked with keeping an eye out for a missing hiker.
