Loss—the failure to keep someone or something. I know all about loss, and the resulting damage can do more harm than good. Losing everything in one fell swoop… yeah, Karma’s definitely not on my side. My life has been somewhat monotonous. Look after my twin. Play in the band. Party like a rock star. Women have filtered in but never stayed, and now that my band mates have all settled down, I’m … all settled down, I’m looking for something… more.
My problem? I’m a perfectionist, and I desire a particular type of woman. I don’t want groupies or fangirls, they’re not my scene anymore.
No, I want the perfect ten. And I’m counting on an internet dating guidance guru to help me find her.
But I’m not doing this alone. My brother’s friend and gallery manager, Alex, is along for the internet dating ride, and we’re doing this ‘dating thing’ together for support.
And in doing so, we’ve become the best of friends. Inseparable one would say.
Now with chaos surrounding me—being arrested, accosted by thugs, and all the drama that comes with my internet dating life—it’s forced a wedge between us, and I’m faced with losing her forever.
And it’s only now I see what’s been in front of me the whole time.
You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone…

Fourth book to the Recoil rock series. Let me say Alex was probably one of my favorite h’s that I have ever read. Full of spunk and sass she brings this book alive. Matt with is “list” finds that sometimes life has more to offer. This book literally kept me on my toes until the end.
I loved this series so far and Matt story did not disappoint. Matt comes across as strong and always worrying about his brother and the other band members but he’s always to busy worrying that he doesn’t do time for him and how to meet his perfect ten woman. Alex’s story is sad that she had to turn to the refuge bit with Zaria’s help she came out stronger and untrusting. When Matt and Alex meet you could feel they were meant to be but sadly neither if them see and are the last to grasp it. This series of hot rockers and their touching stories will have you not wanting to put this book down. Every story has things that affect everyone and you will be able to reflect with them. A must read series
Wow the final book in the Recoil series. Utterly stunning. Master Whisper of the Fung Shui is here yet again. This time as the dating expert. And does that goes horribly wrong for Matt. He’s looking for the perfect ten.
That got him ending up being arrested. For solicitation and bribery no less. What a mess, but oh so funny.
He doesn’t see what is right in front of him. Alex and Matt are best friends. Then he messed it up. Will they ever get back to when all was well?
What a fantastic series. Sigh! Read all about it
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is the book that I have been waiting for, Matt Levine the Bassist of Recoil and the smart and sensible twin. Fret will keep you engaged from the dedication right up until the last word of the epilogue. His best friend Alex will cause you to have tears running down your face and not in a bad way as the things she does and says make you laugh until your sides hurt. Matt’s story is one of those you don’t know what you have until you lose it. At times you will be wanting to grab Matt by his very sexy broad shoulders and shake the living daylights out of him to make him realize that his perfect woman is right in front of his face and that she doesn’t need to tick all those ridiculous boxes to be a 10. This story shows us a side of Matt that we have not yet been exposed to, one where he isn’t always the sensible twin, where he isn’t the confident and cocky rock star that we think he is and more importantly where we realize just how alone Matt feels now that Nate doesn’t need him like he used to. His story shows us that sometimes we are so scared of being alone that we might just push the one person away that makes us feel complete and loved. This book will keep you on a roller coaster ride with non stop drama and things that you will never expect that will make for one of the most entertaining stories of the Recoil series.
