The hilarious romcom from the Sunday Times bestselling author that everyone loves… ground. But – infuriated by the advertising agency across the hall making fun of her job – Annie is goaded into accepting their crazy challenge: to make a random stranger Instagram-famous in just thirty days.
And even when they choose Dr Samuel Page PhD, historian and hater of social media, as her target, Annie’s determined to win the bet – whether Sam likes it or not.
But getting to know Sam means getting to know more about herself. And before the thirty days are out, Annie has to make a decision about what’s really important…
Funny, real and heart-meltingly romantic, Annie and Sam’s story is My Fair Lady for the social media age – and the perfect feel-good read.

How I adored this book!
Initially, I thought it was going to be a love-hate romantic comedy, but after a while it became clear it was only a case of a grumpy, and not very socially skilled leading man: Dr. Samuel Page, the hottest historian you’ll ever meet.
With his obsession about history Sam reminded me a little of Ross and dinosaurs from Friends. You know, if Ross was tall, blond, blue-eyed, impossibly hot, and owned a cat. Yes, because Sam not only is a Jane-Austen-y hero with all his old-fashioned ways and a jot of Mr. Darcy in him, he’s also a cat lover. Can someone get any more perfect? By the way, I’m definitely going to call the next cat that I adopt Wellington!
But a dishy historian is not all this book had to offer. The swooning, sweet romance was interspersed with Lindsey Kelk’s signature humor, which made this read all the more enjoyable.
By the end, I was all warmed and cozied up!
Loved this one! Read it in one sitting!
Full of heart and very, very funny.
Predictable, but a fun read.
Boring premise. Lame attempt at sarcastic humor.
This is the first book I have read by Lindsey Kelk and I look forward to reading her other novels! I love how Annie works with social media and has the task of marketing Sam, an anti-social media historian, into a huge Instagram influencer. I read that Kelk has a background in PR and she definitely gave solid insight into the world of social media marketing which made the story much more real and relatable. You’ll definitely enjoy this read!
A corker… hilarious!
As always, another stellar book from Lindsey Kelk. One of my few auto-buys.
One in a Million by Lindsay Kelk a five-star read that you will want to catch like a shooting star. I will be honest and admit I didn’t read anything about this book before I knew I needed to have it, I had read some other books by the author a while back and loved them so I knew as soon as I saw the name I had to have it, then I had readers remorse thinking will it be as good as I think it will be, will it live to the hype. I am so glad I did, it was way better than I thought. Annie Higgins, I adore you!!! What an amazing character, she will make you laugh and she will make you groan in frustration, but as you get to know her and learn her story you will love her. The other characters in the story play their parts Charlie, Martin, Miranda and Brian will all help to make the story deeper and Dr Samuel Page PhD (twice don’t you know, that just makes him all the more impressive) will keep you rolling with laughter. This story is one of love and acceptance of those around us as well as ourselves. Its funny and sweet and compelling in a way that you wont be able to put it down until you reach the last page.
