I’m going to be bad for my Daddy.I’m a nice girl, or at least that’s what everyone thinks. But here’s something they don’t know: I want an older man to take care of me.So when I meet a filthy ex-Navy SEAL, I don’t care if he’s bad news.I’m going to let him do all the dirty things I’ve always dreamed about.I shouldn’t want a man like Lucas. I stayed home from college so I could take care of my sick … college so I could take care of my sick father, not so that I could get involved with an older, tattooed ex-Navy SEAL with a filthy mouth.
As soon as he walks into my life, I know I’m screwed. I can’t take my eyes off of his ripped muscles and cocky grin.
I keep undressing him with my eyes, but I’d rather he undressed me with those rough hands.
I want to get to know the real Lucas Baker. He’s more than just the bad boy he appears to be. He’s a single father and he works for a flower shop. There has to be something more beneath that hard exterior.
I need Lucas more than I want to admit. I feel a shiver run down my spine when he orders me to call him Daddy. I’ve never been with an older man before, but I feel so safe with him.
I’m going to let my Daddy make me very, very bad.

Loved it
This book is totally worth the read. Everything about the story works, the characters, the conflicts and the consequences. Mia and Lucas are so good together. Their chemistry sizzles, the sex is hot and what is even sexier is that they find a ease and comfortability with each other.
Alice, Lucas’s stepmother and Laura, Mia’s boss are fun characters that are supportive of Mia and Lucas getting together even as forces try to keep them apart. Those forces are in the form of brothers, Caleb and Dylan Carter. The are the rich, bullying, take whatever they want men with the support of their father. Caleb wants Mia for himself and Dylan hates Lucas so, there is a lot of cause for tension and suspense.
My only issue – at the end you don’t find out what happens to Jordan, Mia’s best friend. Does she find out what happens between Mia and Dylan? Do Jordan and Mia rekindle their friendship? Other than that, I recommend this book and a must read.
As most of the other reviews talk about, Lucas is a retired Navy Seal. Lucas came home to take care of his son that he just found out about. He is living for his child and trying to get used to civilian life.
Mia is a simple girl taking care of her father that has Alzheimer. She loves where she works and would do anything to keep her life simple.
When these two meet it is instant heat. But there is a new force in this little town that is trying to take over and they do not like Lucas and Mia being together.
This is a wonderful love story with some great sex and love in it. I loved this story and it really is a must read!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I’m being generous with 3 stars. Gosh, I’ve really enjoyed the other books from this author that I’ve read, but this one not so much. The reason I felt the story was lacking was due to several factors. First, the flow was erratic (some places just dragged, others zipped along), there was a lot of repetitiveness in the story, then Mia seemed so wish-washy, Mia does not lend herself as a very likable character. Mia is too hot & cold with poor Lucas, one minute she’s enjoying his company & kissing & having sex with him, then the next she’s running to get away from him & considering other offers. At 20 & taking on as primary care-giver for her father with alzheimer’s, she should be way more mature/solid than she comes across in this story. I sorta liked Lucas’ character, he was definitely more decisive with his thoughts. I can’t believe a man like that would keep chasing after a ditz like Mia though. Their age difference is not so big as to be creepy, but her calling him Daddy at his request is. Wish I could have liked this story, I had high hopes from some of the reviews & the blurb.
