A standalone title in New York Times bestselling author Vivian Arend’s light-hearted, feel-good paranormal series.~~~~~Into the best-laid plans a little chaos must fall… harbor and ends with him on a cruise ship impersonating one of his pack mates. No worries. It’s just a new adventure to enjoy—until he’s confronted with someone who makes his inner wolf sit up and howl. Suddenly, Jared’s stuck in limbo; wanting to protect, needing to stay away.
Keri Smith joined her best friend for the shifter-only sailing of the Arctic Wolf Cruise. Her job is supposed to be trouble-shooter, so while she’s nearly positive the last-minute recruit sneaking aboard the tour is her mate, ix-nay on confirming that at least for the next ten days. Getting tangled up in mating lust would reduce her skills to nil. Avoidance of the sexy wolf for the duration of the cruise, followed by jumping his bones, seems the logical solution.
But when libidos are on the line, “logic” and “wolves” don’t go together.
Warning: Really? You need to be warned about the hot nookie and sarcasm? Yeah, it’s in here. Also, colourful cat shifters, lupine royalty, and wild adventures in cabins like you’ve never seen before.

A fantastic and favorite series of mine. I’ve read many times. . .
Loved Keri and Jared. A light mystery, secret billionaire romance
Wolf shifter Keri Smith is an artist, working for her best friend cougar shifter Tessa, on her first cruise as director on her family’s cruise line. She has already started a flirtation with sufer boy wolf shifter Chad, who is the Chief Supervisor. Things are a little different on shifter only cruise.
Wolf shifter, Jared Gilliand, has a love them and leave them happy philosophy. He doesn’t see having a mate in his future, something he tells himself he is fine with. He loves his pack, it has only gotten better since Keil and Robyn have taken over.
Jared’s latest conquest is fine with their causal relationship. Her overprotective big brothers, not so much. Jared has to make a hasty escape. Hiding out on a cruise ship impersonating his pack mate seemed like a good idea until the ship leaves port and their are some VIPs on board who are good friends with his parents and will for sure know who he is.
When Keri meets Mark\Jared she knows he is her mate. He doesn’t seen to react. She doesn’t know what to make of it. She has a job to do and now there is a thief on board. Her mate just may be the prime suspect.
Jared finally acknowledged Keri as his mate, she learns one of his big secrets. They both suspect each other in the thefts. Trying to protect each other. They will have to work together to find the thief. Then Jared has to reveal his other big secret.
A fun fast paced and steamy, mystery, secret billionaire romance. Nice ending to their story. Loved Jared’s family. Felt a little sorry for Chad. Loved Tessa.
Kari learned pretty quickly that Jared isn’t what he appears, and he is also not what she thought. As his secrets come out, they are nothing that she expected, and she falls more and more for him. Jared is a goner once he realizes Kari is his mate. It’s always great when two nice people end up together!
Great story once again. I really do suggest reading these in order to get the best enjoyment and understanding of the characters in this pack.
When man whore or should that be wolf whore Jared gets chased by the angry brothers of his latest one night stand he ends up pretending to be his mate and being maintenance crew on a cruise ship.
We find out that Jared has been keeping a fairly big secret from everyone, as a human he is nose blind so when he meets his mate he doesn’t know it, unfortunately his mate is also a wolf and does know who he is to her and cannot understand why he is not pursuing her.
Keri is on-board to help trouble shoot for her best friend and when a thief starts stealing from the guests, Jared seems to be the guilty party.
I did so laugh at Keri’s ‘holy shit I hit the jackpot’ statement when truths come to light.
A good fun filled story with lots going on that kept me entertained right till the end as is usual with this series.
I own and have read this series many times but just recently realised my reviews disappeared so I am re-reading and re-reviewing which is no hardship.
fun read
