These books brought me into another world–I loved the romances in each of them!
Each of these stories is a great read and addition to the series.
I have previously read all the books mentioned in this boxed set in The House of Morgan series as individual reads and found each of them entertaining, romantic and enjoyable.
I definitely recommend this series.
I received an author’s copy and have left an honest review
I really enjoyed rereading the three opening books of this 12+ book series. The characters and the dialog were each unique and entertaining. After reading them together I was surprised though at the edits that were still needed. Also surprised that Alice’s twins turned out to be one son with no explanation!
I found this series by reading one of the spin-off books first. I enjoyed the book so I decided to go back and start at the beginning to fill in the holes.
The stories themselves are good. They’re interesting, they hold your attention, and don’t follow the typical storylines found with uber-rich alpha males. However, this book needs to be pulled for editing purposes. There are some serious mistakes that impact the legibility of the novels. Mistakes like changing the main characters eye colour from brown to blue, and then back to brown. Writing from a dual-perspective but not clearly indicating which character is speaking/thinking. It shouldn’t be hard for the reader to identify who the speaker is. The repetition of certain phrases and actions is over the top, ie. licking her/his lips.
The Jennifer character is insane and it’s completely unreasonable for a single character to wreak so much havoc on so many people. How has she not been completely cut out of these books? I realize that these are the first 3, but the synopsis for other books at the end have scenes with Jennifer in them and she’s delusional.
I read all 3 stories and was appalled by the lack of editing. It was distracting trying to read these stories when there were SO MANY errors in spelling and grammar. Didn’t somebody proofread this before sending it off to be published? If they did, it was a sloppy and unprofessional job.
Terrific
This is a great beginning to the first 3 children of Mitch Morgan and how we h have had to find a way to find themselves after their fathers death. He was a tyrant and caused a lot of grief to his children, and others around them and to the air at large. Can’t wait to find out more.
The characters were interesting but the dialogue felt unnatural in places. Insta-love. No real character development.
Not completed the series yet, but have enjoyed meeting the characters of the story.
Enjoyed the twists of the plot, as well as, the well developed characters.
I love books about family, their members and their problems.
This one is very easy to read, I highly recommend it.
the story is plausible, the telling of it is terrible. So many grammatical mistakes, that after reading a sentence 3 times one still does not know what is happening.. I would offer to edit future books to avoid similar mistakes.
In this opening trilogy of the Morgan family the overall story is sound and carries a bit of unique character. However these books suffer from what must be a total lack of proof reading, especially in books 2 & 3. The number of verb tense, apostrophe use and incorrect use of homonyms is far too great for a published book.
This was an ok read, but everyone has their own taste. Needed more action.
The book was very interesting. It had many characters and several different plots
