What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They’re both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.I’d make my coworker fall for me.I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other … simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.
Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.
The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

Many have recommended me Quinn many times. So I finally decided let’s do it. I picked this up and away I went.
But first let me point out that I don’t like the two MCs are Yankee fans. Goes against everything in my nature. Moving on.
At first I didn’t like either MCs. Not just because of the Yankee fans but because both started out shallow. After the first couple chapters of Andrew he started to get under my skin. He made me laugh so much and his passion for baseball. Swooning and drooling over here.
“Are you insane? Baseball isn’t about home runs. Maybe for the guys who mask their flaws behind a bat. True baseball, the good kind of baseball. is played with intelligence, with well-thought -out moves. It’s like an equation: you have to put all the pieces together to get the perfect solution, a win. You can’t just stock your roster with home-run hitters and believe you’re going to win every game.Every player is essential in their own way from the catchers, to the fast left-handers, to the big home-run hitters. Without every piece to the puzzle, you’ll never go anywhere. ”
See passion.
“For the record, I’m one hundred percent Gryffindor, but if I had to be sorted into another house, I would want to go to Hufflepuff just so I could say the word Hufflepuff.”
He cracks me up and makes a Harry Potter reference. Yeah he made it high on the boyfriend list. Even knocked a few down a peg that have been unmovable.
“Well, Fuck if I don’t want to jump up and down, waving my cock around in excitement while shooting poppers into the air just for the hell of it, but I hold still. Excessive celebration could put me in the hot bed once again. ”
Can we make him real just so I can see this, please?
Now Sadie, girl I did not like her. By the end I tolerated her. It took her the whole book to finally *pop!* her head out of her ass. Seriously she wore that thing like it was a hat and knew it but did nothing to change it.
“Go ahead, start throwing the pitchforks, tell me I’m the worst; curse me out for not being strong enough to let go of the man who both consumed me and broke me for so many years. It’s okay to hate me, because I hate me too. Maybe we should start an I hate Sadie Facebook group. Anyone want to be admin?”
Oh grow the fuck up will ya?
She did have her funny moments with Andrew but I just hated reading her P.O.V. At the end of the book I still don’t think she deserved a HEA. I mean hello she is the reason this book didn’t get a full five star rating. Shit she didn’t even deserve Tucker.
Andrew got two and a half of those stars. I really loved Andrew. He was funny and sexy as hell. Why can’t he be real?
Moving on to Tucker and Emma’s story.
Oh this book has a little bit of everything… Sadie has a sad story, Andrew has a hilarious story. Sadie was in a dark place and Andrew was that guy that always makes her laugh. (we all should know a guy like that). She finds herself getting lost in her time with Andrew and before they know it the summer is coming to an end. Time for them all to return to the real world…. but what is the real world for Sadie? Does she want to her real world to have Andrew in it? Or will she fall back into old patterns?
Absolutely wonderful story about a boy fighting to get a chance with a girl, and a girl running from a whole mess of issues. The banter between these 2 is without a doubt what makes the story! Their texting, messaging, conversations at work… all of it was great! This was my first Meghan Quinn book and I can promise it will not be my last!!!
If you know anything about Meghan Quinn, you know just how funny she is and how much we love to devour her romantic comedies. She says some of the craziest things and always keeps you laughing. So needless to say, she delivers the same delightful punch in Co-WRECKER.
Andrew is trying to made a name for himself. Eager to learn and work towards his goals, he gets a job at Friendly’s as a fountain worker. On his first day, he’s trained by Sadie, who seems to have a chip on her should and wants nothing to do with him. Although Andrew isn’t having that. He’s used to his charm winning people over and he just knows he can win over Sadie. Plus, there’s something about her that just makes him want to be around her and to make her smile.
Sadie hasn’t had the best year and honestly she isn’t in the best place in her life right now. She has a strong support system with her friends and she doesn’t want or need anyone else in her life. She wants to stay drama free and out of the spotlight. When she has to train Andrew, she’s annoyed but at the same time, she can see that his charm actually gets to her but she sure as hell fights it.
These two are complete opposites and that’s what makes them so relatable and likable. Sadie is fire and frisk and Andrew is a charismatic geek with a dirty mouth and a heart of gold. They completely balance each other out. Their path to each other isn’t easy. The past holds them back for a while and all you want to do is reach out to them and hug them and tell them how perfect they are for each other. To fight for each other, no matter what.
While I love the humor in the books, it’s the small things that Andrew did that won me over. Of course, he’s that lovable dork who makes you want to love calculators, computers and all things nerdy. He makes it all look sexy but what’s the sexiest about him is his heart and how much he wants to make Sadie happy.
“I want to be the man who raises you up, who helps you accomplish your goals. Not the man who hides you.”
And that right there, melted me. I’ve never wanted my own personal sexy nerd until Andrew.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. If you are looking for laughter, insane humor, and a bunch of crazy friends who you’d die to be a part of, then this is absolutely the book for you!
Co-Wrecker by Meghan Quinn is a fabulous contemporary romance. When I started reading this book, it had two things I try to avoid, right off the bat. I don’t like first person and I avoid new adult books. That being said, I totally loved this book. Ms. Quinn has delivered a book that is well-written and populated with amazing characters. After an embarrassing incident, Andrew changes schools, finds an apartment and gets a job. Sadie has dropped out of college and has more baggage than a little bit and is tasked with training Andrew. Their story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. There is an angst factor but the author has kept it under control, so it isn’t overwhelming to the point it ruins the story. The best thing about this book though, the humor. The interaction of the friends and the humor is stellar. Kudos to Ms. Quinn. I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last and look forward to my next book by Meghan Quinn. Co-Wrecker is book 1 of the Binghamton Series, but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
4.5 stars
Quirky, fun, romantic, entertaining…..everything you come to expect and want from Meghan Quinn book!!
“He is the most ridiculous man I have ever met. Adorably ridiculous.”
Andrew is just that. Over the top crazy, cute nerd. Break out the pocket protectors, you will need them to catch your drool.
I love all of these ridiculously adorable characters. I love when the banter between characters is something I can see my own group of friends having. I was giggling along with all of them, however I do think I need to add c**t punt to my repertoire. That is GOLD.
Sadie is the chick that just needs a good kick in the pants to know the best thing to happen to her is rocking a mean pair of glasses and collects calculators.
I love a good, fun and sexy read and Meghan Quinn delivers every time!
A hopeless broken girl and a sunny nerdy boy, a match made in heaven. A meet cute over the ice cream counter starts an unlikely romance, but very quickly I was rooting for this pair. A summer fling turns into more, then shatters from lies and regrets that you can see coming from a mile away. A great group of friends help mend hearts, nice HEA!
Hilariously Romantic! I LOVED IT!!!
Loved this book!! The quick wit between characters and the love that blossoms!! Awesome read as always by Meghan Quinn!!!
