The characters from My Salvation are back in this new novel from Michelle Dare. Ethan has always felt compared to his brother Owen. That led Ethan to make decisions that he has been working to put behind him. Piper is an ER nurse that has come to care about Ethan. Full of doubts, fears, heartache, dangerous people threatening them, healing, forgiveness, wit, flirtatious banter, passion, and love. Readers will love My Redemption, the sequel to My Salvation.

I got to listen to the audiobook and the narrator did good. He was the same who did book 1. While the characters are different he made it work.
Ethan and Piper! EEEP. I loved Ethan so much. He was in a bad place in book 1 and climbed his way out. I enjoyed it a lot!
Ethan has always been in his brothers shadow Owen seem to have it all but Ethan with his jealousy and brooding manner took it two steps ahead he pretty much terrorized anybody around him he had his addictions but that all came to a stop. When Ethan decided to make amends and join his brother Owen things started to look up for him he met Piper who was the sexy smart beautiful woman who he knew he did not deserve but he was not able to give her up this book has so much in it sexual tension and sexual relief when Piper is threatened Ethan will go to the ends of the Earth even though he fought his attraction to her in the beginning she is his Redemption she is his peace and she is his future and he will stop at nothing to protect her. This is the second book in this series and it is just as great funny and dramatic and suspenseful and sexy as the first book

A story about being yourself and not standing in the shadow of a big brother. How to make the choice of getting sober and take life and its complications. Two characters who have a lot of bagage in their pasts which they have to deal with. How to open up and let fate get their way to a HEA.
Likeable characters in a well written story with nice storyline and plot. A struggle for this couple to get to their HEA but the twists and emotional ups and downs are worth it in the end.
Enjoyable read that I can recommend to others.
This is a quick and easy read. The storyline is well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are defined, and likable with sizzling chemistry. I liked it.

I’ve wanted to read this story since I finished Michelle Dare’s first book, My Salvation. Ethan seemed to be a beautifully flawed and broken character in the first book and Ms. Dare shows all his flaws in My Redemption. Ethan has always felt that he was second in everyone’s eyes, even his father didn’t stick around after he was born. While things came easy for his brother, Owen, achieving success was much more difficult for Ethan. Spiraling into a self-destructive lifestyle, Ethan nearly lost himself and his family, only after a near tragedy did Ethan decide to change the course of his life and mend his relationship with his brother. Sober and reclaiming his life, he is totally blindsided by Piper and the instant attraction he feels for her.
Piper lived a difficult life, losing people she loved and being relegated to a life of poverty from which she vowed put behind her. Piper pursued her dream of becoming a nurse and paying off all of her family’s old debts. Now living with her aging father, when she meets Ethan at the hospital she is unprepared for the chemistry between them. Tired of nowhere relationships she vows that if she pursues something with Ethan, she will take it slow and wants a permanent relationship and the accompanying HEA.
The story unfolds as two wounded souls seek to heal themselves and each other through love. Ms. Dare’s story is a beautiful love story about two people that use the power of love to overcome adversity not only in their pasts but also to face a new threat that could potentially be an ongoing problem. Favorite characters from My Salvation are still major players in this book. I love the character of Ethan, but then again I’m always a sucker for the bad boy with a heart of gold. As always Ms. Dare’s words are beautifully put together and the story flows from the page and into the reader’s heart. I’m thinking maybe it’s time for Erik to see an HEA in his future?
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the chemistry between Piper and Ethan. You can almost feel the smolder coming off the kindle. I also liked that they took things slow, instead of just jumping in.
A wonderful standalone within the series as you still get a contiuation of some previous stories other characters. When Ethan meets Piper their is an instant connection and chemistry with an over welming pull which helps to lead him to his sobriety. Ethan Matthews was always jealous of his older brother Owen and struggling with his sobriety feels he is a broken man. A wonderful written slow burning romance as these two overcome demons and obstacles and build on a future to a HEA. A great heartwarming romance mystery with two people who believe in the meaning of family.

I was hooked, had some great steamy between the sheets moments, twist and turns to really be able sink in one sitting.
This is the 2nd book in the ‘Salvation’ series and it is quite the read … I was captivated from page one! It is a fast pace page-turner that is action-packed, suspense-filled, and one wild ride. The characters Piper and Ethan heat up the pages with their undeniable, potent chemistry. It is well written with a well-developed plot, witty banter, humour, and an intriguing storyline. This book is an on the edge of your seat read, and will leave you wanting more. I look forward to the next book in the series. When Piper and Ethan are thrown together thanks to her friend, Cali, and his brother, Owen’s wedding, they have an instant attraction to each other. But, Ethan isn’t one to immediately make a move on someone, not since he got sober and has been trying to keep his life on the right path. But, as they spend a week in Hawaii after the wedding, they can’t resist the pull they have toward each other, and are soon getting to know each other. It’s not an easy path they’re on, though, because Ethan is a broken man. He’s overcome his addiction and is trying to keep himself on the straight and narrow. He’s also trying to get over the feelings of inferiority he’s had his entire life toward his brother, Owen, whom he loves and idolizes. Piper recognizes Ethan’s damaged, but she can’t help but want to be with the man who gets her like no man has before. Can Ethan prove to Piper that he’ll always stick around, even when faced with a tense situation brought upon him and his family by her father?
I really liked My Redemption. It’s sweet and tender and Ethan is a swoon worthy hero paired with an equally amazing heroine in Piper. I hope there’s more to come from this series, maybe Erik’s story?
This is the second book in the “Salvation Series!” and the wonderfully written storyline and the very likable characters, Piper and Ethan, kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
This is the second book in the Salvation series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first book. It can be read as a standalone but I think it is better if you have read the first book. This is Ethan and Piper’s story I really liked these two they both have had a rough time and my heart just went out to them. This was a really great read and I really enjoyed it
Wow, this book in the series also reads wonderfully. The chemistry, uncertainties, and hot scenes are well described, just like the two main characters. You must certainly have read Salvation, because those characters are also a big part of this book. From me 5 stars. I hope there are more parts coming .. enough characters that can still be expressed ..
The book is a good romance read. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is filled with suspense, twists, drama, and romance.

Awww what a great story. I absolutely adored Ethan and Piper. Loved every page of this book and hoping there is more in this series.
I was looking forward to the next installment of the Matthew brothers, I really like Owen and Cali’s story and when we got to see Ethan in their book you knew there was more to this man than met the eye and you knew that even though he was not very nice that there were reasons for this and so glad we got to see his story.
I really love Michelle Dare’s way of writing it feels like you are really in the story and you are getting everyone’s point of view with it still from the main characters point of view.
I really felt sorry for Ethan and I had a lot of empathy for this character, he was trying to get his life back on track and if you read him in My Salvation you knew he had hit rock bottom. He was doing so well with his life and then came Piper and he tried to keep away but they had such a pull towards each other but they were both just trying to get through one day at a time. Ethan was a very loving guy but just didn’t think he deserved to be happy and never thought he was good enough.
Piper had a pretty sad back story and it was just her and her father and she did everything to keep a roof over their head and to keep themselves out of debt. She didn’t really want a relationship when she met Ethan but again that pull was becoming to strong. I really loved how strong of a character Piper was and I really enjoyed reading hers and Ethan’s story.
I was happy to read about Owen and Cali in this book and too see how their story was going, I loved all the side characters especially all the security men, I really liked their involvement in the story.
There was everything in this book Ethan was very swoon worthy, their was violence, suspense, very romantic and just an overall really fantastic book.
YAAAH! Super happy we got to see Piper and Ethan’s story! This one had a lot of ups and downs for both of them but it was an amazing tale to get to where they needed to be. I love that we got to see some of the past players as it gave the series more depth.
I think what draws me into Dare’s books is the feeling like you are sitting there watch it play out right in front of you. Has just the right amount of passion and angst but great wit and banter as well! Solid 4 1/2 stars!
