Well written with nice storyline and plot. Second in the series. Well described characters that develops nicely through the story. Great chemistry and passion. A regency romance that has drama, passion, independent heroin, alpha Hero and twists. A captivating and enjoyable read that is true to the time period.
I found this book to be a very enjoyable and entertaining read from the very beginning! The storyline was well written and the characters were well developed which kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
What an enjoyable short read. It is full of heartache, hurt, anger, friendship, loyalty and love. Lady Georgina’s father, the Duke of Balfour, has remarried. Her stepmother has no love for her and wants her out of the way. Georgina is sent to Mrs. Emmeline’s School of Education and Decorum for Ladies of Outstanding Quality. While there she forges three friendships for life with Lady Josephina, Miss Adeline and Lady Theodora. Seven years later, Georgina returns home to the dismay of her evil pregnant stepmother Dinah. The Duchess was doing everything possible to keep Georgina away from her father. She would create diversion just for that reason. None the less Georgina was adamant that she would do whatever it took to gain her father’s affection once again. Georgina decided that she would become the best woman archer in all of England. Thus her adventures began. Georgina had the support of her three friends. But in the meantime, Georgina still pined for Felton Crauford, the young man she grew up with. But she feared her love was unrequited. Felton would appear at Georgina’s manor to speak to the Duke about an offer. Felton wanted to mine for coal on the Duke’s property. But the Duke was playing hardball. Felton had to find other ways to make money to continue his mining and not go bankrupt. So, Felton decided to compete in every archery tournament for the prize money. One evening, after Georgina had won a tournament, dressed as a man, she was caught in disguise by her father. Her father immediately punished Georgina by deciding she would be married to Lord Qinnly. Georgina could not believe her father would do this to her. Lord Qinnly was older than her father. That night, a guard was placed outside her bedroom. She fluffed her pillows to make it look like she was sleeping, donned her gents’ clothing and snuck out the window. She ran away to Adeline’s home. Adeline took her in and kept her in secret in her room. The very next morning Felton had received very good news. The first person he wanted to share it with was Georgina. He set off for her home. He was told she was not receiving visitors. Felton became alarmed. He found out from a stable boy that Georgina had run away. Felton had to find her. He thought she may be in danger. Would Georgina ever become England’s greatest female archer? Would she ever have the affection of her father back or would her stepmother win? Would Georgina be forced to marry Lord Qinnly? What of Georgina’s love for Felton, would it ever be returned? Would Felton ever find her. Will Felton lose his business and his home? The adventures continue for Georgina, Josephina, Adeline, Theodora and Felton. A very quick read. It truly was entertaining and Georgina will keep you guessing what she will be up to. I highly recommend this book.
This was a good short read. The storyline and the characters were enjoyable. Georgina and Felton have a hate/love relationship. They both know what they want in life and keep fighting the connection they feel for each other. It is fast paced and kept my interest. I received it from booksprout and voluntarily left my review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this short story about 4 female friends who were roommates at an exclusive all girls school. They all excelled at archery and had a club. They are starting to be married off and it is interesting. I plan to read the other books in this series.

This is an interesting and entertaining story. Felton is a proud, determined and chivalrous man. Georgina is an independent, stubborn and bold woman. Felton and Georgina were once friends, and he had saved her from herself many times, but the one time she needed him most, he failed her, and she can’t forgive him for it. After not seeing each other for several years, he saves her again, and then keeps turning up in her life. And the more frustrating that she is, the more he realizes what she means to him. It’s a great story that I enjoyed reading.

Okay I will be honest I read this book when I read the Lady Archer’s Creed collection, but now I have a copy that I can read on something other than my kindle. If you read Theodora you will know that four young girls come together in a boarding school and all have the love of archery. This is the story of Georgina and Felton (whom she has loved forever) plus archery does play a major rule. I love when Josie and Georgie are competing (they have to pretend to be gentlemen) I love how it is written. This story was a romp full of humor and joy to read. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
