Finally we get to see what keeps Coal locked in the dark, the incident that turned this man from a carefree young guy to a man who keeps his distance. It will take a little Pixie to bring this man to his knees and finally realize that maybe he deserves a little light amongst the darkness. This book is emotional, gritty and packed full of drama. We will witness the care and devotion that Coal keeps locked away. Their story is witty, loving and at times chaotic. Coal will rock your world as this man certainly knows how to bring the heat and steam. This last book wraps up our three main guys from the Regulators MC and even though it will leave you with a huge smile on your face, you will be left with a touch of sadness as you say goodbye.
Coal’s story gives us glimpses into the guilt he carries over his past. Meeting the quirky Paisley has his thoughts running wild. She has a need to right what she perceives as a wrong to him and he wants her to just go away. The story has the dark MC elements but Paisley brings a lightness to the story. I am stepping out of my comfort zone with this series but was totally hooked with book 1. I really enjoyed the characters and glad we had some carryover from Ice and Hammer into Coal’s book. Glad I found these authors and will be checking out more of their work.
Coal is so much an asshole you have to love him. The things he was put through was horrible. There is no question why he turned into the asshole he was. The horrific case that they investigated was enough to break most people, but this group held strong and defeated the enemy.his love affair with his pixie is so sweet!

Coal is the third book in the Regulators MC by Chelsea Camaron and Jessie Lane. It was well written and told in the dual POV from both Coal and Paisley.
Trevor “Coal” Blake. He was tough, sexy, cautious and guarded; yet, big hearted towards those he cared about.
Paisley Asher. She was simplistic, quirky, an environmentalist and focused on positive energy and light for all those around her.
The storyline provided an interesting perspective and not the normal verbiage. Through Paisley, the authors discussed balancing chi, a positive aura and all things that are good both for the human body and the environment. It was definitely not the typical MC lifestyle.
True to the series, there was suspense and mystery within the MC; albeit, this one was pretty disturbing and graphic. However, it was also a little confusing and hard to follow at one point, even after it was explained. I felt it needed just a little more development, but was still entertaining and enjoyable.
Much to my pleasure, the authors included the strong cast of supporting characters from the previous books in the series. It was great to experience their continued growth and development.
There is more that can be done with this series so although there wasn’t mention of anything yet, I’m hopeful we’ll see something in the near future.
I enjoyed the first two books in this series and was really looking forward to the story about Coal and his background. I hate to say it but this book was boring to me. The h is a small “pixie” woman on the nerdy side who is 100% vegan, organic, soul and body cleansing, negative/positive aura extremist. I mean really OTT. I read more things about natural foods, natural remedies and just natural cleansing of the spirit and body that I’ve ever read on a website devoted to that topic. Coal’s deep dark secret that made him only sleep with prostitutes was lame, at the least. From the reviews I have read there were a lot of readers who enjoyed the book but I was very disappointe
Coal and Paisley !
Lets start off by saying this is new author to us and we enjoyed reading their latest installment in their MC Romance series.I loved reading MC Romances so we are always looking to add to our current book collection.
I did enjoy this story.I found the characters to be like-able as well as engaging. The story dabbles in the current problems arising in the MC and how the members are dealing with them. Each member’s different personality blended into the story making it a fun read.Although I liked the two main characters a lot Pixie ( Paisley’s nick name) and Coal I just couldn’t imagine them as a couple. There was a lot of things that I liked about each character but, they were total opposites .I like a story when the character’s are totally different and they seem to make it work and sometimes it even works to their advantage.Pixie is a Vegan and lives a clean life in mind and spirit as well as health. She needs balance in her life just to focus and to be happy.Coal is tall dark dangerous as well as having a troubled past. He lives life on the edge and is in danger because of the life he leads yet he is attracted to a sweet an innocent. His polar opposite.I just couldn’t see a relationship going anywhere for this couple from the very beginning.
I loved how Paisley was always happy upbeat and determined. She was kind and quite love-able.I liked how she was with her friends who were also her polar opposite but seem to make their friendships work.I like how she was willing to take chances within reason. She was just an adorable character who just tried to make all those around her happy as well.I loved that about her.I also loved how she was always giving herself pep talks they made me laugh.
I loved Coal with his good deeds.I loved how he took his troubled past and tried to make a difference to those women in need. I love how he loved his friends and the loyalty he showed them.I enjoyed seeing him squirm fighting his attraction toward Paisley. It was too funny .I chuckled more then once.I loved how Trevor’s (Coal) reasons for not getting involved with Pixie had nothing to do with her lifestyle choices they were personal ones.Coal even started eating slightly better by being with Paisley. It happened gradually without him even realizing he was making better choices in general.I loved that omg moment when he realizes he was giving up meat! Too funny!
This was a light fun read.I enjoyed getting to know the character’s and I am looking forward to picking up the other stories in its series.I enjoy the other character’s as well their different personalties blended into the story adding humor to it.
Although this couple had chemistry It lacked heat and fire.I missed the sizzle I guess you could say that this couple could have brought to the pages.Paisley would have been a willing partner in that area. She was a tad adventurous …
We are giving this story 4 stars.I am hoping to read more of these authors stories in this series in the near future and get to know the rest of the character’s and their stories.
