I m broken a little after this.
Wow I didn’t think this series could get any better. I was a lil shocked when I seen that Rider/Cain was getting a book. I didn’t know what was goin to happen. So I was a lil nervous at what was goin to come in this book. But it was just amazing I actually think this book is my favourite so far. I have said that after every book though. Rider is a character that I have had mixed emotions about since the first book in the series. Ive luvd him and totally hated at times. But in this book my heart just broke for him. Everything he believed in was a joke he didn’t know where he belonged he just knew he was alone. Until he heard a sweet voice and held the hand of a woman that will change everything for him. She gave him the hope that he needed.
Harmony is such a strong woman. She has been through so many horrible things. But these have made her the strong woman that she is now. She put herself into some dangerous situation but she didn’t care she had to try and make things better even if she had to go through the worst things imaginable. Harmony’s story is so sad but I luvd that she still seen the best in people and was still so so strong. But she did see some light on the dark when she found Rider he was what she needed. She didn’t know much about him but what she did she knew he was a good man and would do anything for him.
Again this book had me at the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. I hated putting it down the story had me sucked into from the very start. The twists in this had me goin crazy I didn’t see them coming at all. I luvd how many there was in this book it made the story so much better. I was a crying mess though through this book. It been a while since I had a good cry but Rider and Harmony had my heart torn apart. See them together and being so protective of each other was so cute. There luv for each other was so quick but so strong in a short amount of time they have had to deal with a lot. It did test them at time but the good alway shined through.
I would highly recommend this book it was just brilliant. The story was dark, intense, heart breaking and cruel. It was so well written I really luving this series it definitely goin into my top MC series. It has everything that I want in an MC book. The characters are just amazing I can’t help but fall for them. The men and women are just so great. There stories kill me but by the end it’s alway good but there is always that other characters that you can’t get out of your head at the end of each book. I can’t wait for more of this series.
I was soooo excited for this latest installment in the Hades Hangmen MC series and this DID NOT disappoint. I wish they would give the option to give more than a measly five stars, because for some stories, five is just an understatement for how much the characters and their tale can move a reader. That’s how I feel about Deep Redemption.
I thought Flame and Maddie’s story would be the most emotional of the Hangmen series, but Rider’s story comes just as close to their level of brokenness and devastation. I could literally feel my heart break for Rider on so many occasions. Everything was so intense and Tillie Cole’s writing was so exceptional that it perfectly conveyed every emotion the characters went through. I felt it all and I’m at a loss for words at how much this story brought out of me.
When Souls Unfractured left off, Rider was a betrayer to the Hangmen and The Order. He was raised with the purpose of leading his people to salvation and after having fought so hard for what he believed in, he finds out that those beliefs weren’t everything he expected and after trying to do the right thing, he ended up being betrayed by his only family and the one person he loved most.
I have never felt so devastated for a character before. The doubt and loneliness that Rider went through was so deep. His regrets practically ate at his soul. But during the worst time of his life, when he was so broken and defeated, he found a light that would help him find the redemption he needed. She was the strength he no longer had. She held the wisdom he needed to find his way back and provided the forgiveness he needed to get past it all. She was EVERYTHING he and this story needed to make it as great as it was.
Together they tell a story that will break your heart and put it back together again. Another amazing story in this series and I can’t wait until #5 is out. The Hangmen own me in the deepest part of my heart and have since I open up that first page of the first book.
The most controversial character in the series gets a story to call his own. Rider, the great traitor, revealed in the first book, tells his version and tries to redeem himself along this plot. Continuing where the previous book has stopped, the traitor suffers a betrayal of the person he trusts most: his own brother. After discovering that everything he believed was a great lie, the prophet is arrested, tortured, has his faith tested and worst of all, does not conform to the acts of Judah.
Seeing no escape from the inferno that lies, the only consolation appears in the form of another prisoner: a girl, Harmony. This slow development of the relationship of the two, all the suffering they both face, whether it is physical through torture, or psychological on her part, which she was said to be a Cursed and therefore must marry the prophet, is very important for the plot, because with everything that happens in this kind of prison, you get to understand these characters better, see all the suffering they have gone through and accept their redemption, especially from Rider.
When I read the first book I did not expect the turnaround I would have, where Rider would betray the club. I did not agree with his actions in the following books, only in the third, when he let the girls go, I saw that he had salvation. In this book I can say that he broke my heart. Everything he faced was heavy. All his life was a big lie. Every bond he thought he had never existed. I believed in the feeling he developed for Harmony, it was a gradual thing. Even in the midst of so much pain and suffering, he was able to protect her.
Harmony was the big surprise hidden in the plot. The fact that she was not who she looked, being disguised, assuming another identity, was an intelligent turnaround. Everything she has suffered since childhood has made her stronger. Instead of conforming, she fought harder. Her coming to the new headquarters of the Order, the plan designed together with her friends, was interesting.
The twists and turns involving Rider / Cain and Judah, with the exchange of identities, the marriage with the person who was not who it seemed, until the climax, where the situation escapes control, culminating in the tragic end, kept the book interesting and agile. Rider’s despair at seeing all the faithful people dead and being unable to do anything was shocking. At that moment I felt sorry for him. Despite everything that has happened, and him to be blame in many things, that particular moment, it will mark him forever.
The reunion of all the sisters was beautiful, the fact that they all managed to find happiness and a certain degree of normality was important within the narrative. The Order was eliminated, but another villain appears. Rider has his chance for redemption, but the road is brutal. The end of Rider and Bella is more than deserved. After so much suffering, the two fell in love was a balm amid so much carnage. Rider got the unthinkable: he became human.
A MUST READ
I know that lots of people hated Cain in the First 3 books and I was one of them, as much as I hated him I knew I needed to read it as this is a complicated series and every book needs to be read, for some one you despised for 3 books and made you love by the end of Deep Redemption. Tillie Cole just knows how to get you so into a story and just love the characters, she makes you feel that you are in that story and takes you for one hell of a ride.
As I had read this book when it first came out, I decided I need to listen to this and I am so glad I did the narrators were perfect for the characters and this book is so in depth and pretty much gets us ready for the next step In to this series.
With the way souls unfractured souls finished I knew that Deep Redemption was going to be really informative and a deep read, it would take us on the journey of how the cult worked and what happened in the pasts of some people and how they got there.
Rider I felt tried his best and thought he was doing the right thing, but when it all came crashing down and pretty much realised that what he believed in was fake it hit him pretty hard and all through the book I just felt sorry for him and I just wanted everyone to like him and see that he wasn’t as bad as what everyone thought. He never had anyone in his life except his brother and when Cain realised that his brother was evil and Judah didn’t really love him he had no one.
Harmony is a big big character in this story and she has secrets that made the story so intriguing and you really I didn’t really see any of her secrets coming, she was such a beautiful character and she knew how to read people and never took many people at face value.
This was written so perfectly and it was such an exciting read, even if you hate Cain you don’t have to read it but you will miss out on a lot of the background story and to see how the next book will unfold. There were quite a few secrets in this one and when you found out it just tied the 4 books that are out together.
If you haven’t read this book do it, and if u haven’t started the series do it now and don’t be like me and think “why didn’t I start this sooner”. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
This is one of those books where you can’t believe you read something so epic. It’s one of the best MC series ever, scrap that one of the best books series ever.
It’s definitely not a easy read by any means, you will have lots of feels in this book and they won’t all be good.
I hated Cain at the end of the last book and I wanted him to get what was deserved but this is called redemption so my thought is how???
So happy there’s more to come because seriously when it’s this damn good you don’t want it to end ever!!!!
Tillie is a friggen genius how she keeps it compelling and the only reason you’re stopping to read because you can’t believe your reading something so EPIC!!!
Loved it and so thankful there is more in the works.
I’m gonna be honest and say that I have been putting off reading this book for almost a year now because I was just too scared to start it. In book one I loved Rider for almost the whole book until he backstabbed Styx, Mae and the Hangmen. Then I hated him. In book 2 my hate for him grew into the most deepest hate I have ever had for any fictional character ever. The things that happened in book 2 were truly unforgivable and I wanted the Hangmen especially Ky to kill him slow and painfully. By book 3 I could see Cole was trying to turn Rider around. Trying to start his redemption with the “I didn’t know that stuff was really happening” defense but I didn’t buy that and I still wanted blood. Boy did I get his blood in this book. Mrs Cole didn’t spare Rider the butt whoopings he had coming his way. Rider got the crap kicked out of him almost the whole book.
I am pretty sure that by the end of this book Rider only had the use of one kidney. Did I feel sorry for Rider and all the butt kickings he endured? Nope not even a little bit, but it did satisfy my bloodlust to see him in pain for all the bad things he did or turned a blind eye to. I was glad that he didn’t make a ton of excuses for his actions, but instead felt deep shame and remorse. I felt Rider finally opened his eyes and grew a little in this book. I did however start to soften to Rider a very small bit. Did I forgive Rider and feel he redeemed himself? No not yet but I think this was a good start. Rider didn’t “WOW” me, make me instantly forgive him, and love him again, however Bella and the plot of this story did.
When Harmony came on the scene blonde hair ,brown eyes, having been newly labeled a cursed sister of Eve and thrown in the cell next to Rider’s, I knew there was something more to her. But never would I have guessed it was that she was Mae and Maddie’s thought to be dead sister Bella. Bella was a brave, strong heroine. I really loved her. Like Mae, Lilah, and Maddie Bella had lived through hell at the hands of the cult she was raised in. Repeatedly raped and beat almost to death by brother Gabriel. I loved that even after all she lived through she still had fire and a fighting spirit. She would fight to the death for those she loved, and she was willing to walk back into hell to try to help and save innocent lives. And for a woman raised in a culture were women were to be meek and subservient she was a total rebel. I loved Bella, and I loved that she was back with her sisters.
Rider and Bella together were good. They had a sweet relationship built on going through hell together, but I didn’t feel them like I did the first 3 couples. The first 3 couples were so powerful that Rider and Bella couldn’t touch them. They didn’t even come close to a fraction of the powerful, all consuming emotional, and moving love story that Flame and Maddie had. They didn’t feel like Fate, like Mae and Styx did. And they didn’t overcome so much to end up with a beautiful healing love like Ky and Lilah. There were still good together but Tillie Cole set that bar high with the first 3 books. Flame and Maddie’s story is still my all time favorite. My God I loved every single moment with Flame and Maddie in this book. They have both grown so much. I would love for Maddie to get pregnant and have a cute lil Flame.
The plot of this book was so good. It had so many twist and turns that I felt like it was one crazy wild ride from start to finish. Judah was the perfect bad guy. Evil at it’s purest form. I was so glad he died and It helped me forgive Rider a little bit that Rider was the one that killed his pos twin. I enjoyed catching up with Styx and Mae. My heart broke for Ky and Lilah and what they had to go through losing their pregnancy and finding out Lilah may not be able to have children from the trauma of being raped so many times. I was glad for Grace but I still hope they get pregnant again and have a baby of their own. Lilah and Ky deserve good things they have suffered the most of all the couples. Lil Ash was cute and I want more of him. I hope Tillie Cole has a book planned for Ash. When Rider came back to the Hangmen, wow the powerful emotions all the brothers felt seeing him again after all he did was so strong. Angst was coming from my kindle in waves. I was glad Cole didn’t just gloss over everything and have the guys just up and forgive Rider after they took down the cult. Rider did too much to them and it would have made them feel like wimps if they would have let that go especially Ky. So I was glad they got some pay back out of him before their women stopped them from sending Rider to the boatman. Smiler was great in this book and I can’t wait for him to get his book. I also can’t wait for Phebe and AK’s book which is next. Tillie Cole is an amazing writer. She writes such powerful, and soul shattering love stories that move me, and steal my heart. I am a life long fan girl and I will read anything she writes.
A man can fall from the highest peak of a mountain and get up to stand, but if he falls from grace in his own eyes, he can never stand back up! To look at your guilt ridden eyes and soul is not easy. To redeem is a task of super men !
Prophet Cain/Rider has committed some sins. He believed in false God , he believed in his paedophilic uncle’s prophecies and blindly followed his cult. He ascensioned into a mirage of Fake Leader of The New Zion and then he committed the ultimate treachery . He ratted on his brothers ! He joined his brothers in arms- Hades Hangman and while swearing an oath of blood for them, his fingers were crossed behind his back. This backstabbing not only hurt the club, it destroyed Mae, Lilah and Maddie’s lives as well. Lilah was so badly abused the she’s lost the ability to be a mother. Her barrenness and Ky’s shattered dreams of becoming a parent is all Cain’s fault because he let it happen at the hands of his sadistic, barbaric twin- Judah .
Judah shares the same face and blood with Cain
Evil begets evil, Cain. Whatever sin blackens my soul lives in you too. We are the same. Made the same . . . born the same
So how do you cut of your own soul ?
Do you bleed yourself out to rid your body of the toxic blood ?
How ….HOW!!!!!!
This question , this dilemma is eating Cain alive .
He’s now a disloyal brother both to Judah , for letting him commit atrocities in his name and to Hades Hangman , for selling them out and endangering the club and their women.
he’s nothing now . A blank slate
I had been two men in my life. I was beginning to understand that neither of them were real. They were both the ultimate pretenders. Rider pretended to be a Hangman, but always stood on the outside, looking in. Cain pretended he was a prophet, outwardly faking strength, yet drowning in fear underneath. But if both of those men were a ruse, then who the hell was I? Who was the real me?
On this blank slate , Bella/Harmony writes -LOVE.
This is the story of a man fallen through seven circles of Hell and his clawing to a way out of it. He literally bleeds out his past. Paves his way to Redemption with his blood! Each blow and cut Judah ‘s guards and Hangmen’s brothers inflict on his body is setting his soul free . It touched my heart and Made me cry . There is no hole that can’t filled with love. Bella brings him back to life and the land of light. It’s a stunning story of courage, resilience and fortitude. I hope the cult is done and over with . No more Judah and his monsters to ruin the girls’ lives no more .
“He was an eternal outcast. Never belonging in either world that he had walked in.”
The Hades Hangmen series is one of my all time favorites. Every book in the series is heartbreaking and beautiful and Deep Redemption is no exception. There were a lot of people who didn’t like Cain/Rider, but I always saw someone who needed redeeming. It was obvious to me that he was broken and in war with himself and in this book you will read just how broken he is.
“You are good. You may have sinned in your past, but you are redeeming yourself now.”
Deep Redemption was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. I am always anxious to get my hands on any book by Tillie Cole. This book was another unique addition to the series and it had me feeling a thousand different things. I won’t mention who the leading lady is in this book because I want you to experience everything first hand. I want you to go in blind and go through everything that I went through and feel everything I felt. I do want to mention that this book heroine is my favorite in the series so far. She was so strong and brave, I just loved everything about her.
There were multiple plot twists that I didn’t see coming and they fit perfectly in this book. I cried, laughed, was sad, angry and happy while I was reading this book. A couple of scenes were so heartbreaking that I just couldn’t control my tears.
“You have been the only good I’ve ever known. You’ve been the heaven I was searching for after all. Not the faith, or the prayers…just you…only you.”
The writing was phenomenal, the plot was one of a kind and the characters were not your typical ones. Tillie has created such unique characters who keep on surprising me with their actions. A couple of my favorite characters made me mad in this book, but they are the way they are and I just have to accept them like that. I loved reading how the couples from the previous books were doing, It was like coming home! I can’t wait for the next book to release.
Best book Yet in this series!
I think this was an extraordinary story and this author keeps on hitting them out of the park!!!
When I knew we were getting Rider story I was stoked. I liked him from book one and his bitch in this story is the Baddest Bitch of them all, FLOVED her.
I am ashamed of myself for not reading this sooner waaaay sooner BUT I’ve read it now and it was far more than I expected.
#teamcain #forlife
I have to admit, I had to debate for a while before I got and read this book. I really didn’t like Rider/Cain after all the things that have happened in the other books, especially after the second one. But, I figured that I would give the book a chance, maybe Tillie Cole would be able to do something to actually redeem him in my eyes.
Cain spent 5 years as Rider, a member of the Hades Hangmen. Now that his uncle, the Prophet David, has died, he’s the Prophet Cain. With his twin brother, Judah, at his side, he’s going to rule their church and lead his people on to where they should go. The problem is that Cain really doesn’t feel like he fits in and he doesn’t think that he can do his job. When he finds out that things he didn’t think were happening were actually happening and is betrayed, he suffers, terribly.
Harmony has been staying in a commune in Puerto Rico. Her guardians have been hiding her so that she won’t be cast as a Cursed, but when that happens and it’s decided that she’s going to have to marry the new Prophet, she knows that she must do her duty. But, then she meets someone else and things drastically change.
OK, the twists in this were totally a surprise to me. Sometimes I can see some of them, and there was one that I kind of guessed, but the biggest one was a total shocker. I loved how it worked out though. It was pretty awesome.
The ending though, that was totally devastating. Broke my heart altogether and I sat and cried and cried over it.
I do find Cain’s name interesting. I mean, in the Bible, Cain is the one who murdered his brother, and to have the mark of Cain was to be marked as evil, so for the heir to the prophet to be given that name was an interesting choice. Of course, it could be argued that he did murder his brothers in a way, since he betrayed the Hangmen the way that he did. One of those things to keep thinking about, I think. Every time I read this book, I’m sure it will be in my head.
