Book 2 – Wicked Wisteria
Zara Riddle moved to Wisteria for a quiet life. Instead, she got ghosts, demon birds, shifters, and even gorgons.
When mysterious forces erase words from the town’s books, Zara conjures a magical creature to restore the text. But magic has a mind of its own, and magical creatures love trouble. Pretty soon, the bodies start piling up.
Now Zara must face whoever (or whatever) is behind a dark plot to destroy everything she loves.
This time the fight will be tougher than ever. After all, it’s hard to battle the forces of evil when you’re dead.
Book 3 – Wisteria Wonders
Zara Riddle needs to crack open one more big secret.
Chet Moore, the moody shifter who lives next door, has been running hot and cold like a broken faucet ever since they met. Zara finally resorts to magic to get the truth out of him. It turns out her instincts were right. Chet has been hiding something, and it’s a doozy.
Now Chet wants Zara’s help with an intensely personal mission. He wants her to track down a lost soul and solve a cold case – a strange and violent case that powerful entities would rather keep buried. Diving in will put them both in danger.
Zara tries to be a good witch. Zara should push aside her feelings and help the lost soul, but… it’s so hard to do the right thing sometimes. Zara might be one crafty witch, but she’s still a woman.
When the shocking truth is finally unveiled, not everyone is going to get out alive. With this mission, the only thing worse than failing is succeeding.

“I love this series! I am still laughing about sleep-toasting! The main characters have flaws but the story doesn’t become a therapy session, just a good paranormal mystery.”

Wisteria Witches #1-3 (Wisteria Witches Series Bundle Books 1-3) was a great read by Angela Pepper. This set consisted of; Wisteria Witches, Wicked Wisteria, and Wisteria Wonders. Wisteria Witches (Wisteria Witches #1) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Zara Riddle just moved to Wisteria for her dream job as a librarian. Just as quick as they moved in, she and her teenage daughter Zoey are swept in a murder mystery. The twin of Wisteria seems to be full of ghosts and supernatural creatures. In all this craziness they are witches and try to master their powers. Wicked Wisteria (Wisteria Witches #2) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Strange things seem to be happening in Wisteria. It seems like the words keep disappearing from the pages of books. Zara Riddle is a witch and a librarian who wants to find out who stole the words with the help of her witch aunt. Zara finds herself deep in mystical trouble. Chet charges in to save the day but it’s a trap. Wisteria Wonders (Wisteria Witches #3) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Zara thinks she has a handle on everything until her friend got zapped into a flamingo. The Department of Water and Magic becomes involved. They want Zara to channel a missing spirit and has to save the love of her life. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more in this series.
witches, wacky, urban-fantasy, shifters, situational-humor, verbal-humor, ya-only-means-no-gratuitous-erotica
This series is a laugh riot! Not only is there no true horror going on, but the situation and verbal banter makes for grand fun. The town is Wisteria and magic of many kinds is the rule there. Zara and her daughter Zoe move there from away, meet Zara’s Aunt Zinnia and learn that they are all witches. And the dishy neighbor is a wolf shifter, and other surprises. All good fun and hilarity.
I have the audio, and Tiffany Williams is the narrator who almost manages to keep the equivalent of a straight face!
A fun and witty story with characters and ghosts that grab your heart. Couldn’t put it down until I had finished.
I loved this set! The Riddle family is so fun to listen to. The sarcasm and puns they use through the whole set is witty and funny all at once. There is definitely some mysteries to be solved, but are made so much better with these two characters!
Narration was fantastic! She does the characters personalities perfectly.
I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

Magical Mysteries
I read/listened to each of these three tales individually and was fortunate to have acquired books two and three at the same time, as I was more than ready to continue on my discovery of Wisteria and its colorful and varied inhabitants (I begin to wonder if ANYONE is actually “plain human”). Author Angela Pepper has a strong and clever sense of the ridiculous and, especially as creatively voiced by narrator Tiffany Williams, this series is addicting. Kind of like the baked goods the locals can’t get enough of, I found I couldn’t stop myself nibbling away at this triple confection.
