Short stories, fun and sweet. I would have given them a rating of 5 but the author incorrectly used the word “passed” instead of “past”, so many times, it drove me a little crazy.
It was a very good set of books. I think I said this before but I love the sets. They continue so you have an outcome. If there is a start of a romance mixed in the murder, makes it all the better. With the sets you get an outcome of said romance. Also finding a new mystery in the coming books.
I love the sweet plot and story line; a little mystery with somewhat happy endings. Perfect light reading; I wanted to see what happened in the end!
I liked the premise of someone refurbishing an old house and bringing it back to life. Second chances are great in more ways than one. The world that she creates is realistic and the interweaving of relationships is gradual and not rushed, though it doesn’t drag. She sucks you in and keeps your attention. I read these books in record time and want to stay in her world.
