When life offers a second chance grab with both hands
Another Beautifully written chapter of the Kavanagh family story this time about Quinn Kavanagh and his childhood best friend Keira.
Quinn thought he had it all until a tragic motorcycle nearly cost him his life. Forced too have physically therapy to help him walk again. he no idea his doctor would be the women would stole his heart and then broke it into a million pieces when she left for university in Seattle Kiera.
Kiera is shocked to find her first patient is Quinn the man she gave her virginity too. Broken both body and soul can she put him back together..
I love the Kavanagh Legend’s series and think Ms. Robinson saved the best for last. Quinn and Kiera’s relationship didn’t feel rushed due to the fact that they’ve know each other for 20+ years and were BFF’s for most of those. My only criticism would be that I thought it took them too long to discuss what happened between them six years ago. What will stick with me the most at the end of this series is family. The love and support they show each other is amazing. Even when Ace once again becomes a big part of the story, I was weeping like he was an actual person and that in itself should be a testament to Ms. Robinson’s writing
So I have read every book in this series so far. Since book one I have been longing for Quinn’s book, and now having finished his story I find myself sitting here hugging my kindle going awe Quinn! I just loved tattooed, bike riding, bad boy Quinn so much. This book was so good I am just floating on a cloud of happy feels. It was everything I hoped for and more.
Quinn was just so yummy. He was smart, strong, protective, and had a goofy playful side. He was so loyal to his family. Dependable, holding his family and their business together. I also loved that he had an artistic side. There was just so much to Quinn’s personality. Kiera was iffy for me at first. I love Quinn so much that when I found out that she hurt my Quinny I kinda wanted to punch her in the face. But then I found out she didn’t know she hurt him so I warmed up to her. I liked that Kiera was so outgoing. She was smart, sweet, and she not only believed in herself but she believed in Quinn.
I love friends to lovers books, so to find out that Kiera and Quinn have been friends since they were little kids and that Quinn has been in love with her the whole time just made my day. Their back story was so sweet. They had some smoking hot passion. One of the things I love the most about this book, besides Quinn, is the Kavanagh family. Through this series I have fell in love with the whole, huge, loud, nosy, loving, family. They all hold a special place in my heart and I love reading about them. The HEA was great and made me smile so big. I loved this book and I can’t wait for the next book (Jimmy?) in this series.
I thought it was kind of lame.
This is a second chance romance and, oh my, it was so beautifully told! Quinn Kavanagh is nearly fatally injured in a motorcycle accident and it takes him months to recover before he is even ready to begin physical therapy. When he finally does, his doctor turns out to be the woman he has been missing for the past six years, Kiera Finley. They were best friends growing up and after sharing one night together she disappeared. These two were best friends who lost so much after Kiera left town but can they recover what was lost and build on it? Are the feelings still there? I did not read the previous books in this series and did not feel anything was lacking. This is a big and loud and loving family and it was fully brought out in this book.
I definitely recommend this book and I will be going back and reading the rest of this series.
When is a sports romance not just a sports romance? When Sarah Robinson is at the helm. Ms. Robinson and her Kavanagh Legends did something that for years I thought was impossible. Introduced me to gripping tales of courage, spirit and living the American dream. Told through the eyes of fictional sports heroes and fans alike. This author enabled me to discover a genre that I had previously shied away from and I’ve never looked back sense. Chasing a Legend explains why.
Having hope in the face of adversity is never an easy task. Quinn and Kiera have learned that first hand. What they’ve forgotten is that in order to accomplish anything, a person has to believe in themselves. A lesson we all do well to remember and a point that Ms. Robinson drives home splendidly. Wise advice never gets old and neither does a second chance romance.
