There’s something about the little black dress. The go-to wisp of material that’s perfect for any occasion. The quintessential LBD hugs, stretches, and moves with the female form. Every woman needs one at some point, and sometimes that means borrowing from a friend.Starting with Abby, this lucky LBD makes its way into the stories of Lucy, Katie, and Winnie right when they need it most.Four women, … most.
Four women, four stories, and four happily ever afters…And it all started with one little black dress.

Read “Lucy’s a Dreamer” by Brynne Asher first – and absolutely fell in love and was charmed by the story! Lucy and Vaughn were meant to be and the fun of the chase after Vaughn caught on was giggle-filled and swoony. Vaughn proved himself to be a quiet(ish) and stand-up rarity of a man and Lucy was quirky-cute along with being easy going.
Abby’s Angels is a heart melting and heart pounding story with such precious beauty. Abby and Whit had both a easy marriage, but also one that had heartache too. And unfortunately, space and time drifted them apart. This is the story of them knowing something needs to change, and setting about making that happen. I melted with all the heat and sweet blessings contained here. Plus, it’s awesome to get a story of a couple that’s living out their hea.
Layla Frost’s Winnie Mae was something I totally didn’t expect and I loved how it all worked out. Cutsey and spicy, Win and Max have a unique beginning and easy going relationship that makes this a fun and light hearted story.
Kiss me, Katie was a great way to end this little anthology (for me, as I totally read these stories out of order!). Ethan and Katie have worked together for 6mo and both have fallen in love with the other, but didn’t want to ruin their working relationship or friendship by admitting anything. Until finally Katie needs a way to deal with her parents and is brave enough to ask for Ethan’s help. Super sweet, hot, sexy, and oh so good, these two melted my heart with their connection, spark, and charm.
This is a perfect lazy-Sunday-on-the-deck-in-the-sunshine kinda read – completely easy, fun, and just as hot as the sunshine.
Who doesn’t love a great anthology?? It’s better if it’s about that wardrobe staple the LBD and even better if it’s also raising money for families dealing with cancer. Triple threat.
Four hilarious intertwined love stories about the power of the perfect LBD. The right level of sweet, smoking hot chemistry and plenty of laughs.
The moral of the story – female friendships and a kick ass LBD help in every situation.
“Go-vaginas, go-go-vaginas”
Holy vagina, penises and orgasm. This may have been short but wow it certainly packed a punch. Chemistry and attraction off the chart. The little dress that could and did. Miss Asher I will be needing the full novel thank you.
It all began with a little black dress . . .
Sweet baby . . . I experienced so many emotions as I read this anthology: tears, laughter, love to name a few.
Tears; yes I cried because Whit and Abby’s story hit me hard.
Laughter: you can’t have an O’Rourke, Asher, Curtis, Frost anthology without those moments that make you laugh, giggle, and hoot out loud. Goodness gracious, there were moments I was laughing so hard, I thought I was going to wake my husband.
Love: dear, Lord, these women know how to give you the perfect aphla-male that will have you sighing and falling in love, not mention, the perfect women who know how to keep them on their toes.
To say I love this anthology composed of interconnecting stories is putting it mildly . . . I AM COMPLETELY, UTTERLY, AND MADLY IN LOVE with the Little Black Dress!
