A two-headed bird with a Game of Thrones obsession, a party full of tea addicts, and a Cheshire Cat who could seduce the pants off her grandma? And if the citizens weren’t bad enough their prince was off his rocker.
This wasn’t your run of the mill Wonderland. This was the Fae world, where rules are rules, and some things are exactly as they seem.

What a unique version of Alice in Wonderland but made into it’s own unique story and adventures featuring Kat. Excellent read, good characters, advature, magic and good plot.
I recommend this series.
Chasing Rabbits – Lately I have been reading lots of re-writes of fairy tales and here we are with a spin off of Alice in Wonderland. Well it isn’t the same place and oh Alice is the as well. I liked it and the characters and commend the author on a job well done. The story was fun and had it’s twist and some intrigue and left you wanting more. I look forward to the next book in the series and seeing where Kat goes from here.
Chasing Cats – OK I don’t like spoilers so I will try to do this right. Now this book of the series is a little different well at least from book 1. We get to know more about the struggle Kat is going thru dealing with her “duel” self thing she has going on. Well hiding out she kinda starts figuring things out a far as her human side with the fae side. But she still can’t get away from the Underground peoples and so lots going on but not a whole lot of action but good story development. The ending?? Well now that just did a wham bam and kind of the Man scorned wow. So do I recommend it? Most def. The story is well developed and so are the characters, fun, cute, and entertaining and a good read.
Chasing Princes – Wow the further this goes the better and more intense it gets which is not normal for series but part of this author’s strength. Kat now has accepted she is the one that must get rid of the Shadow Men but when things go bad for Chess and she has to help him another wrench is thrown in the mix. There is plenty of excitement, including seeing Dorian again and action that will keep your nose in the book til its done. This fairy tale ain’t over and isn’t for the faint at heart. Great series.
Follow the adventures of Kat in Underland. Part fae part human she leads a life in both worlds. She breaks off the engagement from the prince (her old life) and falls in love with Chess (her new life). She’s kind of a big deal and as such has to fix the wrongs of the past to make a better future. Each book tells part of the story until the last which explains what started it all. The characters are well written and all play their part. In the end love wins. I really enjoyed the series.
An interesting book very different but enjoyable to read, I haven’t read the rest of the series.
I loved the first book, very much hated the second book just my personal opinion, but I liked the rest of this series. Overall I think you’ll like this series!
“The Underground Series: The Lost Fae Princess” by Erin Bedford compiles into a single volume the first five books in the eponymous series.
• Chasing Hearts
• Chasing Rabbits
• Chasing Cats
• Chasing Princes
• Chasing Shadows
This series is Bedford unique and contemporary own retelling of eighteen century Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” story. Bedford’s heroine is Kat (and she for sure not Alice, which is in fact a plus), who follows the apparent white rabbit down into the hole to find a Fae prince, the Queen and Chess, the cat, because there would never be a wonderland without the cat, would it . Kat keeps on chasing throughout the books, rabbits, cats, princes (the one Fae in fact), and shadows until her journey comes to an end in an epic twist. There are two further installments in the series, but the first chapter of Alice journey ends here.
The compilation also includes the prequel to the series “Chasing Hearts”, which tells the story of the Fae courts, independently from Kat’s journey.
This series was so much fun!
