Great read… highly recommended Mark Dawson’s novels. I was hooked from the Cleaner… the first book in his series.
I discovered John Milton as a “secondary” character in the Beatrix Rose novels (In Cold Blood). I enjoyed Mark’s stories about Beatrix, and enjoyed John Milton’s character, so I rushed to read 1000 Yards. That did not disappoint me and neither did The Cleaner, or this book, Saint Death. I find myself staying up late to finish Mark Dawson’s books. …

This was the second John Milton book, and I didn’t like it as much as the first. I liked that the author allowed us to get into the mind of the protagonist, but there were just too many things that happened that I didn’t believe could possibly happen that way.
