Love the characters. I have read all the books in the series. This is a fun read.
I have read everyone of the Kinsey Millhone books and haved loved each one. To me this book was the best yet. I believe i will cry when this series ends!
I have read all ofUe Grafton’s ABC books, and this one is among the best of the bunch.
I love the entire Sue Grafton alphabet series and this one is one of her best. Can’t believe we’re at the end of the alphabet with only “Z” to go. Definitely worth reading – and if you haven’t read A-W, read those first before “Y!”
Enjoyed very much; always love her books
A good recommendation for reading the remainder of Sue Grafton’s alphabet novels.
fun read
Loved it!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE STORIES AND HATE TO SEE THE ALPHABET ALMOST AT ITS END.
Grafting is always a good read.
Now that she is almost at the end of the alphabet, I hope that Sue Grafton will start on numbers and go on forever. Few of the choices above fully fit. The books are well written, have excellent plots, are never retreads of previous books, and are just great stories every single time.
Sue Grafton has developed her character Kinsey Milhone superbly. I could easily envision Kinsey walking into my grocery, gas station in real life. The plot is so riveting that I read this book in two days. The only negative I have is that I am left waiting for the next in this series to be written. Oh, Sue Grafton, your genius has us addicted. Thank You!!!
I have read all her books but this one involved the past an present and it was hard to keep up where one was.
Sue Grafton’s skill is in building such wonderful characters. By “Y” the reader knows all the returning characters well, and yet she surprises. I am one of those sorry she’s at the end of the alphabet.
Wraps around like a warm blanket on a chilly night.
typical Grafton
Sue Grafton hits another home run! Looking forward to the next one. What happens after Z?
Just love the Kinsey books!
I always look forward to Sue Grafton’s books. They’re a great read. You know you’re not going to go on a great intellectual journey but at least you’re on a fun ride. Her plots are good, her characters are good, she doesn’t try to overwhelm you with her vocabulary; she just has a slightly sarcastic, amusing writing style with enough strength to keep you interested to the end. I’m sorry there’s only one more letter in the alphabet.
