Fallen Billow should be in college like most of her friends, but instead she’s raising her brother and working as a housekeeper at a vintage local hotel. It’s back-breaking work, but not nearly as challenging as fending off unwanted advances from the hotel’s owner. Thomas McHugh is fighting for our country, across the globe and decades before Fallen Billow was even born. So there’s no way they’re … way they’re soul mates. There’s no way he can be desperate to see her, hold her, kiss her. Except there is.
Is it a dream when he inks his name on her skin? Is it a delusion when she puts her hands on his face and says she loves him? Nothing has ever felt more real.
Fate has etched paths for Thomas and Fallen that even time cannot touch. A Purple Heart proclaims Thomas’ valor and bravery. And his death. But Fallen dares to dream of the impossible. She wants Thomas to stay. Just stay.
A tribute to all who have served our country, this novel honors the impossible beauty of love and the endless power of hope. Come open your heart and celebrate the many facets of bravery with Fallen and Thomas.

“Don’t cry, my pretty Fallen. This. What we just did here? It will be the light in my darkest goddamn hour. Memories of time with you are my sanity.”
First of all, I read this book in one sitting (I finished it around 4:30AM) and used a lot of tissues because I was crying my eyes out. Debra did an amazing job and this book is one of the most beautiful way to honor her uncle Tommy. For All the Evers was such a magical, beautiful and heartbreaking book. Impossible things happened in this book, and I love how Debra came up with this amazing story. If you are looking for a one of a kind love story, read this book because you’ve never read any book like this one. I was sucked into this book and couldn’t put it down, I just had to find out what would happen to Fallen and Thomas.
I don’t want to give too much away because you should just go in blind and experience this book. Make sure you have some tissues handy because I did some ugly-crying (trust me I did not look good at all). There was so much more going on in this book, the author had created such a phenomenal and intriguing story. It was a page turner from the start. Fallen was a very strong, hard-working, and selfless person. She gave up a lot to give her younger brother a better life. I felt every emotion she was feeling in this book, and that is in my opinion very important when I am reading a book. I need to become one with the characters and live what they are living. And I was able to do that perfectly with this book.
This book is about soul mates and about love that is impossible. For All the Evers is one of my favorite books of 2016. I hope that everyone finds love like Fallen and Thomas’, I hope one day I do!
I know I’m a hopeless romantic but Debra Anastasia, you make me swoon. The story behind this novel is an endearing one and knowing the love and effort put into this book makes it that much more…Everything. But don’t just take my word for it.
For All the Evers is a beautiful and heartbreaking story. A lost and world weary girl experiences something overwhelming and amazing. But she doesn’t know why or how. She doesn’t know if it’s real or not. She only knows how special it is. With clues and outside help she begins to piece together the mystery of her love.
I have no trouble admitting the prologue had me choking up on the first page and the tears flowing by the time I flipped the page. I had tears running down my face repeatedly.
The feels…wow.
Heartache
Longing
Despair
Love
You will feel them all. But even stronger is the HOPE. I can’t even begin to tell you how intensely I loved this book. So take pity on my previously broken heart and share the wonder that this story brings.
A great story about how love transcends all time. Fallen was meant to be with
Thomas no matter what and their love was more powerful than time.
I think this book went in a different direction then I thought it would go, but otherwise it was good!
