Who is the sexy man behind the mask? If you’ve read the first three books in the series, then you’ve already met him! Catherine Davenport is successful in her career, but doesn’t have the same skill when it comes to her love life. After a painful divorce, she’s finding the new world of dating both intimidating and frustrating. Tired of striking out, she takes the extreme measure of enlisting the … extreme measure of enlisting the help of an instructor in a private club who offers sessions on how to improve her dating strategy as well as her overall sexual confidence.
‘Calvin’, the masked man with the piercing blue eyes and husky voice not only challenges her to step out of her comfort zone, but encourages her to unlock her repressed adventurous side with various lessons.
She feels like she’s making progress until her worlds collide and the identity of the man privy to her most intimate details is shockingly revealed as someone she knows.
Can Catherine put her insecurities aside to take a chance on love where she least expected it? Or will her past interfere with her ability to share a future with the one man who truly knows the real her.
Full Length Standalone book with no cliffhanger. Fourth book of the “Something Series”
Teach Me Something is for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.

Teach Me Something by Aubrey Bondurant is the fourth book of a five-book series. This entire series has had me since the beginning and every book gets better and better.
Catherine Davenport as we have seen in previous books is a successful editor for a popular fashion magazine. Two years ago, her world was upended by her husband ending their marriage. She is trying to navigate the world of dating but is finding it difficult. Through her friendship with Sasha, she keeps trying new things such as speed dating to get herself out there, without much success. Eventually she finds herself in a private club trying to get advice and help on how to get herself out there and find someone who she can love.
In walks Calvin, a masked man with piercing blue eyes and a husky voice. He proceeds to give her (as her alter ego Kat) advice about life and dating and encourages her to find her adventurous side, not only in life but sexually. He tries to help her with everything from matchmaking to flirty texting , trying to convince her that she is not “boring”.
Suddenly though, her two worlds collide when she suddenly discovers who her wonderful masked man is. Believe me, it was a huge surprise to me and not at all who I thought he was going to be. Don’t read spoilers and let yourself take the surprise in, you won’t regret it.
Now Catherine has a decision to make. Should she keep “Calvin” at arm’s length to keep her world status quo? Or should she give in to her adventurous side and let Calvin in? He knows the real her and will he be able to help her leave her past behind for a future that could be amazing?
Although each book can be read as a standalone with no cliffhangers, I would suggest starting at the beginning and reading them in order so you aren’t already aware of what may happen to other characters in those books…you WILL want to read them all
This is my favorite book of this series. Both characters were likable and relatable. This duo’s chemistry simply sizzled and the sweet moments had me swooning. I loved that they each had emotional baggage that weighed heavily on them and their growing relationship. It was so enjoyable seeing the personal growth that happened because they found each other and fell in love. A wonderful story that is filled with emotion, drama, humor, heat, angst and heart. I am posting a volitional, forthright review.
Teach Me Something is my new favorite in the Something series. It absolutely can be read as a stand alone. It has all of the feels and I absolutely loved it!!
My review from February 2017:
Is Teach Me Something going to be one of my top reads of 2017? Magic 8-ball says: As I see it, yes.
There are so many reasons why I love this book! Is it the flawless writing? Yes, definitely. Is it the amazingly lovable characters? Without a doubt. Is it because I can totally relate to Catherine in so many ways? Signs point to yes.
This book has the perfect blend of humor, passion, and heart – everything I love in a great book. Catherine & Will are so different, yet they couldn’t be a more perfect couple – bringing out the best in each other. They are two of the most real & giving people – you cannot help but love them.
This is book 4 in the Something Series, and I do believe it’s my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the other books, but Will has stolen my heart!! Just when I thought Josh was awesome… then along came Brian and won a place in my heart. Next thing you know, here comes Colby…SWOON! No way would anyone surpass those guys. Was I wrong!! Like a blur of all things good & sexy, Will easily took the lead as my perfect BBF. He is sweet, super romantic, and his inner alpha comes out at exactly the right times.
I am so in love with the group of friends in this series. They are each so unique and lovable in their own way. I can’t wait for the next book!! I would like to call DIBS on Mark right now! Sorry, Ladies.
I highly recommend this book!
Short review. Another amazing addition to the Something series. Witty dialogue, steamy scenes and wonderful chemistry between Will and Catherine and side characters that are great addition. My one and only complaint is that it wasn’t longer, I wanted more of Will and Catherine’s story.
Teach Me Something Book 4 of the Something Series by Aubrey Bondurant – 5 Stars
I really am enjoying this series. While this can be read as a stand-alone, I am so glad I read this as a series in order so that I had all the well-developed backgrounds on the secondary characters in this story.
This is Catherine’s story. I thought I knew what was going to happen with this sophisticated, beautifully dressed and greatly admired woman. It was nice to see her human side. I would like to be her friend (and not just because we wear the same shoe size – I swear). She is kind and generous – hmmm I actually might have a crush on her. Anyway…
I am absolutely enjoying this series. The characters are developed quickly, the story is written in such a way that I connected with the underlying message and I got to revisit with my old friends from the previous stories. I am looking forward to the next story in this fantastic series.
If you enjoy series authors like Jill Shalvis, Marie Force, Ruth Cardello, this is the series for you.
