Grayson Coleman has just moved home to Butler, Vermont after spending years working for a high-powered law firm in Boston. He’s looking for a simpler, less stressful existence in the sleepy little mountain town where he grew up with his siblings and Abbott cousins. Once the holidays are over, he plans to hang out a shingle and open a new general law practice. After helping to raise his seven … younger siblings, the last thing on Grayson’s mind is a family of his own.
Emma Mulvaney is enjoying a break from her reality as a busy single mother in New York City while she and her adorable daughter, Simone, spend the holidays in Vermont with Emma’s sister, Lucy, and Lucy’s future in-laws, the Abbotts. After meeting Abbott cousin Grayson Coleman and talking to him for hours, Emma is nervous and excited to have dinner alone with him after sharing her deepest, most personal secrets with him.
Will that first night be the start of something new for the jaded lawyer and the selfless single mom or will a holiday week flirtation turn into something much bigger than either of them ever expected?
Come back to Butler, Vermont for more of the charming Abbott family, their matchmaking father and grandfather and of course, Fred the Moose.

A multi-plot line novel with characters from the Green Mountain series. A wonderful story with smart mature characters who must address the challenges of single parent dating, estranged families, and building a life together with someone who can share a HEA. Well written, funny, romance. Marie Force is a great writer.
Single mom and a lawyer meet at a family event. The stage is set but it is complicated (in a good way). Romantic, a standalone, family. A very good read (as is typical of Marie Force).

This book is so, so sweet.
I’m crazy about this series and the scenery. I love how magical and enticing Butler is. Every time I read about it, I feel this urge to up and move there. I don’t care that it’s fictional.
I also love how close and helpful the characters are. The whole family is boisterous, nosy, also loving and supportive. They are funny and fiercely loyal and it doesn’t matter whom I’m reading about, I’m always in love and craving for more.
In this book, we get to see the love blossoming between Emma, Grayson and, of course, Simone. And it was so adorable.
It was cozy, fullfilling and it melt my heart to read them all loving and trusting in each other.
This author’s ability to create a good guy always amazes me and Grayson is one of the best guys. Loyal, protective, hard working and understanding, he left me warm and hopeful.
Emma and Simone were wonderful as well. Their connection was so beautiful, they were partners, soul mates even, and Grayson added beautifully to their tight, little family.
What a magical book. What a wonderful series.
Another great reader from one of my favorite authors.
Grayson has just moved back to Butler after leaving his successful law practice in Boston. He’s looking for a new start with a slower pace. Emma and Simone are visiting her sister for the holidays and meet Grayson at a family wedding. They have an instant attraction for each other.
EVERY LITTLE THING is the first book in the Butler, Vermont series, but it’s just a continuation of the Green Mountain series. It picks up exactly where we left off at the end of AIN’T SHE SWEET, Charley and Tyler’s story. Which is amazing by the way! Beautiful, heartwarming reads that can easily be read as a standalones or as part of the series!
The book starts out with a prologue, taken from the end of AIN’T SHE SWEET so readers can transition between books/series with ease. Grayson is our hero and he is the oldest cousin to the Abbott siblings. He’s a successful lawyer who’s burned out from working in the big city and has come back home to Butler to set up his own practice.
While home, he meets Emma Mulvaney—sister to Lucy who’s engaged to Grayson’s cousin Colton Abbott—and Emma’s daughter Simone. Grayson is immediately enchanted by Simone and her very lovely mother. He’s not looking for a relationship, but can’t seem to stop thinking about or being around Emma. Don’t worry, Grayson is not a weird creeper. He grew up helping raise his siblings and likes kids. Just wanted to point that out 🙂
Emma has a lot on her plate: full-time job, full-time daughter, zero time for romance. She and Simone are spending time in Butler, having been invited to the wedding of the eldest Abbott sibling, Hunter (yeah, there are a lot of ‘em!). And getting much-needed sister time with Lucy. She wasn’t expecting to fall hard and fast for Grayson Coleman.
EVERY LITTLE THING is a genuine contemporary romance. It’s a story where the impossible can become possible with dedication, work, sacrifice and love. It’ll leave you feeling all warm and mushy inside, and possibly reaching for the tissues!
On a personal note: Every time I read one of these books, it’s like I’m coming home again. The characters and the entire fictional town of Butler, Vermont are family and I love catching up with them and I kinda feel like I’m involved in their lives when I read one of their books. It may sound a little silly I know, but when I’m down and I can’t seem to muster up a smile, I know I can escape for a few hours into Butler and find my happy place again.

New Beginnings
Grayson was coming home, he was tired of working in Boston helping rich bad guys get off. He sold his partnership and moved back to Butler. Emma was there to spend the holidays with her sister & fiancee & his family. Her daughter fell in love with it. Emma met Grayson and is was love at first sight. Let’s see how this works.
It feels great to be back in Vermont. This is a series. I wouldn’t recommend reading this book unless you have read the others. My review is going to be short because to be honest it can be summed up in one word: Family. All of these books have a solid storyline that begins and ends with family. This is Grayson and Emma’s story. Dual point of view. You also get some continuation storylines from our favorite characters from previous books. No cliffhanger, but you know there is more to come. And I for one am thankful for that.
3 1/2 Another sweet-tempered romance from Butler, VT. I love the fact that this wasn’t anxiety producing. Grayson and Emma felt it, accepted it and worked with it. I also enjoyed a peek at the couples from the previous books. A well written, feel-good romance!
Great book! A must read!
