I truly truly loved this book!! You should start with “No One to Hold: A Second Chance Rock Star Romance (The Hold Series Book 1) then read “Hard to Hold: A Second Chance Rock Star Romance (The Hold Series Book 2)” and then “To Have and to Hold: A Second Chance Rock Star Romance (The Hold Series Book 3)” !! All three are extremely awesome books!!
This series got better with each book. I absolutely loved this book. I didn’t expect several of the things that happened. I was afraid the tension was going in a different direction but was happy with the direction it took. I’m sad to leave these characters. I look forward to reading the spinoffs.
In this third book of the Hold Series, Cole Manchester, famous rock star the world over, gets a clean bill of health after almost being killed in a car crash by Starr, his crazy stalker; however his publicist and the love of his life Rose Morgan isn’t so lucky, having been lying in a coma for weeks. In spite of his concern and worry for Rose, Cole goes ahead with the first leg of his tour. But when Rose finally does wake up, she is disoriented and confused, and thinks Cole is a danger to her because it puts her at a dangerous risk as well. But with the help of her friends and those closest to her, Rose begins to start piecing her memories back together, and knows she ultimately has to trust her gut and follow her heart.
A great finale to Cole and Rose’s love story, I loved this book immensely! The only aspect I was kind of hoping for was a scene of Cole and Rose finally getting married but otherwise I really enjoyed reading it!
I enjoyed reading this story about Rose and Cole! So much goes on I had to keep reading to find out what is happening with Rose and if she will get her memory back and also get back with Cole since he never gave up on her. I love how this story ends and I recommend this book !!!!!
I was really glad to have this story wrapped up. I was also really glad that the main characters didn’t spend the entire book trying to work things out themselves. There was enough conflict to keep it interesting just with the whole stalker situation. A couple of times in the middle it seemed to stretch on a little, but overall a good story.
To Have and to Hold (The Hold series #3) by Arell Rivers is the third book of a rock star romance trilogy. Except for one chapter, it’s told in first person dual POV. This is the final part of the trilogy and concludes Cole and Rose’s story.
This book picks up six weeks after the accident at the end of the previous book. Rose is in a coma, stalker Starr is still a threat, and it’s time for Cole to leave for his world tour. Knowing that Rose wouldn’t want him to cancel his tour, Cole reluctantly goes but continues to check in with her mother daily, hoping she’ll wake. When Rose wakes up, she’s missing pieces of her memory. As fragments return, she fears Cole is dangerous and responsible for what happened to her. So when he visits on a break from his tour, Rose sends him away. Can Cole help her remember the truth? Will Rose change her mind about him? And how far will Starr go to get what she wants?
I enjoyed part three of Cole and Rose’s love story. I typically prefer reading dual POV for romance, so I was glad that this book switched back and forth between Cole and Rose’s perspectives. The pacing was steady, but a little slower than the previous book; and there was still a decent amount of action and suspense. Cole is as sweet as ever, and Rose is no longer a pushover. She’s stronger, and it’s good to see her finally stand up for herself. It’s also great to see Starr finally get what she deserves. Overall, this was a satisfying end to the trilogy.
