I have loved all of Susanna Kearsley’s books.
This is one of the first books I read about time travel. Now I am totally hooked. The characters were truly romantic but pure, exactly the way I like my fantasies. There was just enough historical reality to hold my interest. I read it very quickly, almost obsessively, until the final pages. Then I didn’t want it to end.
I love all of Sussanna Kearsley books – when is the next one coming??
Loved this book and this author!
Well drawn characters with an intriguing plot. Started off a little implausibly but you are drawn into the story anyway. Very satisfying; I read another book by this author because I enjoyed this one.

I always enjoy this author. The stories are engaging and atmospheric. This book was not my favorite Kearsley novel, but was enjoyable.
This book was reminescient of Daphne Du maurier’s House on the Strand, I loved it
It’s a good read overall, yet the ending stopped abruptly and didn’t connect well with previous chapters
Very entertaining and fairly well written, I enjoyed it very much!
I love everything I have read by this author, she creates a feel good place that you hate to leave. This book is no exceprion.
I love all of Susanna Kearsley’s books; all great stories, wonderful, lovable heroines, with just a touch of the super natural – in this case, time travel. I wish only that she could write more and faster. Excellent, readable writing style.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It had a good combination of characters, history, romance, and the added fun of time travel. I was sorry to see it end, and wanted to know more about what was going to happen next.
Very good
