UPDATED INTERIOR CONTENT… RE-EDITED AND PROOFED!Matt ‘Sin’ Sinclair I’m the middle child born into Devil’s Fury MC. Club life was in my blood, I was expected to carry on like my father did, like my brother, but it wasn’t me. Wanting a life away from the MC, I joined the military after high school, becoming nothing more than a grunt in the Marines. Military life was hard, and war was something I … war was something I didn’t expect. People called me a hero for defending my country, but I felt more like a coward. A hero wouldn’t have shrapnel scars on his back, proving he was running away from the fight instead of facing it. If I was a hero then why didn’t I save my sister?
Savannah Brooks
I was raised by a working class family in the midst of oil country, Texas. Catching the eye of an older man, the son of oil royalty, I thought I found love. But I was wrong. He wanted me on his arm, to make him look good, just as a woman should. I wanted to be heard, for my opinion to matter. The first strike of his hand across my face should’ve been evidence enough that my life wasn’t turning out as I had hoped. Getting smacked around became the norm. I thought I was stuck in a life I couldn’t control, but the life I found growing inside of me gave me the strength I needed.

The connection of the man characters is awesome. I really enjoyed the fact that the connection was instant but a little unbelievable at times. Sin was born into a life he wasn’t prepared to live. An MC club his late father started. He is a bad boy with a good man’s heart. Savannah was born to a drug addict mother and was adopted by a middle-class family. She always worked hard to prove that she deserved to be saved. When her boyfriend of four years starts to get more physical with her, hitting her in the face and choking her until she passed out. She decides to up and leave him. When Sin finds her, he decides to take her back home with him and help her. He feels an automatic connection with her he tries to deny it but eventually it proves to be impossible. I loved the characters of the MC club; they were hard core and ruthless but they were also caring and protected their own people. They provided protection for Savannah as soon as she got there because it was important to Sin. Sin basically claimed her as his. Really enjoyed the story but it took forever for the two characters to get together even though they had that amazing connection and that was super frustrating. The ending was perfect, I was satisfied with where the book went and how the characters ended up.
I just finished reading all 3 books in this series and all I can say is WOW!!!! I am not usually into biker stories but I could not put these down! The chapters are short and you can buzz thru several while you are waiting on anything. The story lines are superb, the sex is hot and I loved all the characters. This series is definitely not for anyone wanting a clean romance. There is kinky, violence, erotic sex and a lot of f-bombs, but I personally loved this series. I can’t wait to read some of her other books.
Lots of bad language. Abused pregnant gal takes up with motorcycle gang.
for me it was a page turner
Wow, what a disappointment. This plot line was convoluted and completely ridiculous in parts. The characters were not likable and the story was slow and made you want to go back and reread parts because you thought you must have missed something. Just not my kind of book.
too offensive with too much sex.
Really enjoyed this book
The first half of the book was good, but the second half seemed to drag on and I became tired of the character’s issues.
Not what I usually read. A little dark. Fast paced.
Can’t wait to read more in this series
The only problem that I had with this book is the typos and also one of the chapters was completely out of order, and not just one chapter off, that missing chapter didn’t turn up until way later in the book.
I dont usually read the MC genre but this book was great! The characters had great personalities. It kept me reading for hours. I am looking forwarded to reading the next one in the series.
Matthew “Sin” Sinclair finds Savannah Ray when she’s in desperate need of a safe place to land. Sin becomes that place for her, and, despite the demons of his past, Savannah becomes his safe place. As we travel along the path of Sin and Savannah’s love story, we are taken on an emotional journey with all its highs and lows and twists and turns. At times the drama is intense and may be difficult for some to read, but the raw and gritty are an essential part of the telling of this tale. The characters are very well developed and the action throughout is fast paced. Sin’s and Savannah’s story will grab your attention from the beginning and hold you captive until the very end. I highly recommend this very engaging and emotion-packed story and series!
This was a decent biker read. I love how Sin was so protective right from the start when it came to Savannah. I couldn’t sense the connection that they had. The overall story had a slow burn feel too it and I think really helped the flow of the story. The secondary characters really propelled the story. They each had some great characteristics that meshed well with the main characters.
The suspense was fairly predictable to me. I think some of the bread crumbs were a little too obvious and led some of the big moments being overshadowed. Maybe that’s what the author was going for. Giving it an easier feel, which could it very well could have been. Overall, I really did enjoy it and I plan to read more on this series. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Sin and Savannah’s journey is full of angst, suspense and romance. A great start to this series and all the characters in the MC. Can’t wait to read the rest!!
This was very good! It had some minor editing issues but nothing too glaring or distracting. The story was great, I loved Sin! Jenni was funny and I hope I get to read more about her in another book
