This book was great, You really felt for the Heroine and wanted her to end up with the hero.
This was my first read by this author, and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the characters and the depth of the story… all packed in to a quick read.
This story was typical alpha male, independent female meet, instant attraction and sizzle. Male resistant to marriage because of past family trauma. Unexpected pregnancy, woman leaves, man finds out about pregnancy, brings her home, health scare with babies. Great, predictable story but still a harlequin perfect read.
It was okay, the relationship just seemed forced.
I ended buying the rest of series
Interesting read quickly gets into plot
The book was a pleasure to read with deep emotions. I liked both the heroine, and hero. They had a few communication issues, but slowly worked them out. Cinnia left Henri when she found out she was pregnant. She didn’t think he loved her. She waited and longed to hear the words “I Love you”. Some men speak louder with actions than they do with words. This was the case with Henri. He showed her over and over again how much he cared with small gestures. Henri never wanted a wife or children. When he was a teenager, his younger sister was kidnapped. He saw what that did to his family. After that he felt it was his responsibility to protect his family. He didn’t want another person to have to protect from the world. The only problem was, he feel hard for Cinnia. Once he found out she was pregnant, He made a vow to protect his new family. This ended up being a sweet book.
Meh
Good story and an easy read.
I loved this book. A childhood trauma makes the hero unwilling to risk a long term relationship and the heroine is independent. It was nice to see a romance between two strong people. The push and pull between the two was realistic and engaging. It was a captivating story.
A woman with issues with self-esteem meets a celebrity and has installed chemistry and becomes his mistress. She becomes pregnant with his twins. She breaks up with him and the story proceeds with each of them learning how much they mean to each other.
Enjoyed this book very much and would encourage anyone to recommend it for anyone that likes this type of book.
Good book
This book was an okay read. Typical of romance. But it filled a couple of hours so I am happy
Twin Surprise.
Tycoon Henri Sauveterre never intends to fall in love, marry or have children; on that he is adamant. Despite being Henri’s mistress for two years, estate planner Cinnia still feels that she exists on the edge of his life. Finding out she is pregnant throws her life upside down, especially when Henri refuses to admit to any tender feelings for her and so she leaves him without telling him her secret. Unfortunately on a visit to a prenatal clinic, her secret is revealed and when Henri finds out, he is furious.
I enjoyed this romance with the alpha male who suppresses his feelings due to a traumatic event in his past and of course eventually the two of them do get their HEA.
I haven’t read the other stories in this series and so I can confirm that it can be read as a standalone.
