Previously published under a different title The tri-mate bond is a myth That’s what Tracy Warden has believed all her life. Werewolves have one true mate, someone their wolf bonds to physically, mentally, emotionally. She didn’t expect to find her mate so soon, but Nick, second to the Pacific pack’s Alpha, is undeniably hers. The scent of him, the irrefutable way their bodies call to each … bodies call to each other–it’s the beginning of a new life for them both.
Until Tracy meets Gabe, and everything she thought she knew is turned upside down.
None of them expected this. It shouldn’t be possible. But the bond they share can’t be denied–and before long, they don’t want to deny it. The triad makes them whole, and two alpha wolves in her bed–in her life–make Tracy wonder how she ever lived without the tri-bond.
But there’s tension in Pacific, tension that goes much deeper than mere pack politics. Gabe, Nick and Tracy will do anything to protect each other, and their new bond is about to be put to the test…

This book continues the overall series arc of Pellini/Werewolf Mafia while giving us Gabe (National mediator), Nick (Pacific Enforcer), & Tracy (baby-sister to the Cascadia Alpha)
I forgot (because Dane has several other MMF books) that while she sort of hints and teases as a potential for MMF, this is actually MFM. That tease is honestly more annoying and distracting than just owning the MFM sitch.
It feels very much HFN instead of HEA the last book gave us. Nick & Tracy find a third mate in Gabe instead of just an anchor. That takes up a big chunk of the book concurrent with Nick discovering his brother/Alpha has messed up.
I don’t mind when books are part of series arc, but this felt unfinished in being a solid story on its own. Not terrible, just unsatisfying.
It has been a while since I’ve read from this series and with a reading challenge that I’m participating in, I was finally able to focus on my my vast TBR and Wolves’ Triad was one of them. I don’t know exactly what it is I loved about shifter romances, they’re so erotic and the one instance where I’m all about the insta-love. And it’s a menage, might I add. I honestly can’t say that I’ve read many those, but I sure did love this one!
If you’ve been reading along with this series then you know about the other story arc that will be continuing throughout this entire series. There’s some crazy drama happening with another pack, so there’s a bit of a cliffhanger with that arc, you’ve been warned.
Bring on the steam factor with Tracy, Gabe and Nick! When it comes to shifter series, I love seeing the author’s take on them. The insta-love is inevitable, but having an anchor bond was something completely new to me with this series. And these three definitely get more than they bargained for after that’s all said and done. Tracy has two mates instead of one, and that people is such an intriguing aspect to this story. One I was absolutely loving every single minute of.
With all three of them having different roles in a pack, they need to work together to be in sync with everything. They’re some issues that really bring out Tracy’s badass and protective side. She’s definitely not a wolf that you want on your bad side, she can talk the talk AND walk the walk. I’d say my favorite scenes were the ones of her putting people back in their place.
Wolves’ Triad had some new to me aspects that I rather enjoyed reading about. At times I felt like Tracy, Gabe and Nick were immature and it kind of changed the tone of the book for me. But overall, still an enjoyable read and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
This is the first book I have read of Lauren Dane it was so hot and steamy I reckamd it to all that love hot hot wolves I highly recommend it Cynthia Fay sharp
