Crosscut
Colt has a loving relationship with his wife, a blues band with a house gig, and an adopted daughter finishing her senior year in high school. He has no intention of reactivating his PI license anytime soon.
Until…
An old girlfriend tells him something that makes his heart pause and his jaw drop. Could the militia group Colt shut down three years ago be responsible for a double homicide in another state?
Snuff Tag 9
Trying to get by now as a “security consultant,” Colt takes the case of an affluent young accountant who has received a threatening letter—a mandate to drive out to the swamp and play a popular videogame called Snuff Tag 9.
The game is extreme, and intense, and shockingly violent.
Especially when populated with real people.
Key Death
Wanda Taylor wants to meet her biological father for the first time. Happy to have the work, Colt discovers that the man he’s looking for was shot dead two years ago in his Key West apartment.
Now Wanda wants Colt to investigate the murder.
He agrees to take the case.
And soon wishes he hadn’t.
Blood Tattoo
Nicholas Colt…
World-class guitarist with a crushed hand, private investigator with a revoked license. Currently settling into a nice quiet life of teaching music and spending time with his family. Or so he thinks.
Diana Dawkins…
Operative with the ultra-clandestine federal agency called The Circle. Smart, beautiful, deadly. She needs Colt’s help, and she’s willing to pay him well for it.
The bad guys…
Conspirators, traitors, assassins. Well-equipped and organized, they will stop at nothing to get what they want.
And what they want will affect the lives of millions.
Will Nicholas Colt and Diana Dawkins be able to stop them in time?

to gory!
The writer has an unbeliveable story line in each book. The main charcter has a lot of warts but the moral code he lives by helps all of us. I doubt and hope that most do not encounter the people and activites that incur in the novels. This is a good series but Don’t start at bedtime if you have active imagination.
i read the first book in this series. i wish i had not . there is nothing to like in this book. everybody is unlikable. dont waste your time reading this book . it is a piece of trash.
These books were just too out of the ordinary for me. The plot is relatively uncharacteristic with no clear cut ending.
Love the short stories
I couldn’t even get through the first book it was so bad. Outrageous, impossible storylines with even more ridiculous twists. Not to mention the constant grammar mistakes. Not sure if it’s just the kindle version I got, or if it’s also that poorly written in print. But yeah, this is a hard pass.
A bit over the top and violent
it was scary but it kept me reading
Kept my attention throughout
All the Colt books are well written, and the best thing about them is the characters are consistent, interesting, and they fit within the story. The action is usually believable, if barely, and the good guys usually win, but never unscratched. This series is best read from the first book but can be read in stand-a-lone, as the series does occasionally refer to a incident in a previous novel but it is easy to figure out even if read out of sequence.
Great protagonist. Enjoyed the first three, the last one left me scratching my head. Not sure where the author was going with his characters.
This Book is odd to say the least. I found it difficult to like the stories, they are not realistic and are somewhat sadistic, not for me at all.
Good enough to keep me reading.
