I love this series and Wyatt Baker’s performances of them. Here we have Raja, a new MC president and David, younger brother of another MC officer. Raja is trying to rebuild the club in Toledo and when he hooks up with David at a party he never expects anything else from it but a good time. David is questioning his sexuality and dealing with some guilt so he also doesn’t expect anything from their encounter. Fortunately for them, and for us as readers, there is a much deeper connection forged and we get to watch it develop. This one has a heat level off the charts and Baker’s performance brings both the heat and the emotions to perfect life.
Was apprehensive but enjoyed it.
David a sweet innocent Catholic 18 Yr. old boy. Trying to find his place in the world.
Raja. Biker. Indian, Manwhore. Never refuses a bet.
These two have nothing in common apart from David’s brother is in the same MC club. And a bet.
But stranger things happen when David didn’t get into any colleges but doesn’t want to tell his parents. He decides his best bet is to go to the city, live with his brother and get a job.
Working in a flower shop is like his dream job, but what else happens feels like he’s living someone else’s dream.
For some reason I didn’t think I would like this book much, but how wrong was I. I liked the complex drama that surrounded the characters, and the characters themselves.
Well worth the read. I listened to this on audio and liked Wyatt Bakers narration, although i did speed it up to 1.25.

I’m reviewing the audio edition. This is a great addition to the series. I enjoyed having a over experienced biker, Raja, overruled by the innocent David. The characters personality is different than what I expected. Raja acts totally captivated by David. David is just learning what it is to be gay and getting involved with Raja is quite the education. The secondary characters add so much. David’s family and how they handle this relationship. The Coffin Nail member reaction to the bet made by Raja. I also feel that Wyatt Baker narration was perfect for these characters and story. I was given a copy from GRR and this is my opinion.

Coffin Nails MC (Sex & Mayhem, Book 9)

This is a great opposites attract type romance set in the Coffin Nails MC world. The story is well written with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The characters are complex and well developed, Raja is the president of the Toledo chapter of the Coffin nails MC, they are a small and newer chapter with only five members, looking to become profitable and expand and become independent. For now they are with the Detroit chapter and while at a party celebrating Hunter and Asty’s new baby Raja is challenged by another member to show how easy it is to pick up a male. Raja caught David staring several times and when he gets him alone he makes his move on him. David is Hunter’s brother, he grew up in a strict catholic home, he is questioning his sexuality and is conflicted because of what he was taught, thinking his straying thoughts are sacrilegious. But the moment Raja has him alone those thoughts go out the window, it all just felt right. His inner turmoil continues after and when he turns to someone he thinks can help it backfires and pushes him further away. So he jumps on an opportunity to get away from his family and goes to stay with his brother Hunter. Raja did not know David was Hunter’s brother and even though he is a man whore he does not get involved with any relatives of club members, so he ignored David’s messages. Then Blade puts an idea in his head and Raja considers it. But when things start to get real between David and Raja he calls all bets off, though it does bite him in the arse down the road. A lot goes on in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, some thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance and sexy times. I liked how much David grew by the end of the story and how we got to see the real Raja, the man under his bad persona. K.A. Merikan, thank you for the awesome story and the thrilling emotional rollercoaster ride.
And for the wonderful narration, Wyatt Baker did a great job bringing the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. His portrayal of each character was spot on and sounding just like I pictured them to sound. He played Raja’s role with perfection, the alpha biker, his David was great too, you could hear his sweetness and naivety. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into his performance. He is an entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen
Thank you #GRR
There are many romance tropes that I find highly enjoyable, and the experienced, older Dom with an innocent, younger twink is definitely one of them. Raja is a new Coffin Nails MC President and Hunter’s best friend. David is Hunter’s younger and naïve brother who’s spreading his wings for the first time in his life. Raja’s pursuit and courtship of David was incredibly sweet to watch unfold. Their chemistry was strong and the sex scenes were hot.
Overall Rating: 5 Stars. The writing was lovely as I would expect from a K.A. Merikan book. The sex scenes were hot and kinky. It was an enjoyable story to read and I highly recommend it.
Oh, David was such a sweetheart and so innocent, the stuff that comes out of his mouth was soooo freaking funny, I was laughed my ass off!!!
Raja, Smoking hot! filthy mouth! Manwhore (I did not see that, But whatever)!
A fairytale collection to their other books! It was FUCKING beautiful!
I have loved this whole series!
great biker read
