The Sleepwalker Legacy is an action-packed medical, financial thriller that forces the reader to look deep within and make a decision: ethics and morals, or greed and power? The Sleepwalker Legacy is part of Sam Jardine Crime Conspiracy Thrillers but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. In 1814, Britain’s foremost scientist, George Napier witnesses a drug-fuelled massacre on a US battlefield. … massacre on a US battlefield. The drug, Berserker, has a deadly side effect known as the Sleepwalker Legacy, which destroys the life of his Native American lover. After the War, Napier dedicates himself to the eradication of Berserker.
Two hundred years later, Napier’s global pharmaceutical company has fallen into the hands of the ruthless Beckett family. They are determined to produce and leverage Berserker for profit, as the US government seeks to exploit the drug for military advantage.

This book grabs you from the beginning and never lets you go. There is a lot of action, the characters are well-developed but with some you don’t know if they are going to take the moral high ground or go for the greed. Why is scary yo me is there are probably similar or even worse drugs that the pharmaceutical companies are working on or have already bypassed all the regulations and are testing on people that have no idea what they have been given. I am proud of Sam with his Native American background for over 200 years that they have been trying to get rid of Berkserker that leads to the Sleepwlker legacy. It you love medical and financial books, this is the one for you.
How did I miss this dynamite story about big pharma, corporate intrigue, military trials and American history.
Sam Jardine is a hero you can’t help but like. He’s a brilliant but highly principled negotiator who drives a hard bargain and usually gets what he wants, but when the beautiful Rachael Beckett helps him escape from a trumped up criminal investigation in China and convinces him to come to work for her family business, he stumbles into a world and a piece of his own family’s past he had no idea existed.
This story is full of cut-throat negotiations, high powered executives, violence and even a little romance. It will keep you guessing, prove to you that you can never quite be sure of people’s intentions or allegiances and have you cheering for the good guys through one narrow scrape after another.
One of the best techno-thrillers since Tom Clancy.
The Sleepwalker Legacy #1 – Wow! My kind of book. The plot never stops twisting nor does it slow down. This is a well written suspense full of intrigue and excitement. The characters are my type: developed, devious, moral, honor bound or not, with a sense of humor. Of course, these traits aren’t in each character, but some are shared amongst most. This author fills the shoes of Ludlum just fine and I look forward to reading more of his work. I got this book from some website. I contacted the author to review his other books.
The Wulff Agenda #2 – Takes place two years after The Sleepwalker Legacy ended. Another well written, fast paced book filled with intrigue, suspense and action. Of course, the same type of character traits as in TSL: all well developed, good and bad. The plot never stops bringing new turns, multiple storylines and a gamut of emotions. Some interesting technology: it’s the big bad Social Media in the wrong hands coming to get us. The story takes place in the Ukraine and the author shares a lot of the past history of Russia, Ukraine and the people.
The Last Oracle #3 – Oh my goodness! This is the best of the three books so far. Well written, fast paced action and a fully loaded plot. The suspense, intrigue and multiple storylines keep the reader flipping the pages. There’s always something going on either in Egypt or Greenland or lil ole The Woodlands (near Houston, TX). And add Syria and the UK to the mix.
The Last Oracle has a few of our old characters mixed heavily with the new; running the gamut on traits and emotions. The reader experiences a gamut of emotions, too! There’s fracking and a solar-powered car on the technology side teamed up with an Egyptian goddess. Bring your own drink and settle in for the ride.
