Every book in this series s better than the previous . This book is twisted, gritty, suspenseful, hot, it is everything you want in a book. I had difficulties putting this book down. It sad, and happy and scary, it is such a great story I was very much surprised ( no I don’t spoil) and I loved it. Go read this series.
Two years ago Chris arrived as her sister, Chelsea, was being murdered. She fought off the attacker and ever since he has been stalking her, taunting her. After he breaks into her home and terrorises her she decides to contact Lost and Found Inc.
Marcus still feels the loss of his wife in a car accident whilst he was serving in Afghanistan. He regrets that their last words were said in anger and he has closed himself off from almost everyone. Chris is no damsel in distress but she knows her limits and realises she can no longer hide herself away.
I loved seeing the villain’s POV!!!!!! He made me squirm and you really get an idea of just how chilling he is and how determined to have Chris!!. The descriptions of his deeds were quite graphic and gruesome. But nothing you don’t see on CSI each week.
I love this series, former military, Alpha heroes helping those who most agencies turn away. They all have their flaws, and that is so much better then “perfect” heroes. Well written, great characters and hoping the series continues for a lot more books!
The suspense and thrills are high in this third book in the Lost and Found series. From the chilling opening scene to the final confrontation you’re on a nonstop ride with a sexy brooding hero and a tough but vulnerable heroine.
We’ve met Marcus in the previous books and knew he had a tragedy in his past that has left him feeling guilty and content with living his life with just his dog Diablo (who plays a large part in the story and you just fell in love with him every time he was on the page).
Christine Holland walked in right after a killer murdered her sister. Even though she was face to face with him and managed to get away she has blocked out what he looks like. It’s now two years since the murder and she has been running from the killer who seems to find her everywhere she goes. After his latest threat she decides to go to Lost and Found, Inc for protection and help in trying to bring the killer to justice.
The chills were a plenty with the creepy killer and his thoughts. Its always nice when the author doesn’t spare us any gruesome details. Even though Chris and Marcus were put through hell from the killer and they both had reasons to not want to get involved the author didn’t apply the typical angsty drama between them as the story went along. Marcus had some ghost to put to rest but he managed to do it without breaking Chris heart in the process which was such a refreshing change.
I’ve never been disappointed with any of Jerrie’s books and this was no exception. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
