Cowboy Luke Wilder only wanted a beer at Grey’s Saloon. Instead he ends up in a fight with a brother he never knew and dumped by a fiery red headed bull breeder he only asked to dance. So much for keeping a low profile. But Luke Wilder is stubborn, and no woman’s ever said no to him twice, in business or pleasure.Tanner McTavish is more focused on breeding champion bucking bulls than in making … in making out with cowboys, unless that cowboy’s Luke Wilder. She’s had a crush on him for years, and the Copper Mountain Rodeo could be her chance for a little romance except she needs Luke on her side for a new business opportunity. Flirting and kissing are off limits. Too bad Tanner’s never played by the rules…

I loved her characters and her style of writing. So down to earth and real. So enjoyable
Rodeo
Tanner is expecting the representative for IBR to show, it happens to be Like Wilder, his brother is more known in the Montana circuit. Luke has already had a run in with a brother her didn’t know about, his mom is there and his half brother Zane. But it’s a wild ride.
If you love cowboy books you’ll love this one
Bring in the science, the athletes and a whole bunch of crazy family stuff then add bulls and rodeo. Adds up to a great read. Liked it alot.
Was really rooting for Tanner and Luke. Did not like Tucker at all…. so it shall be interesting if I change my mind in a later book.
Loved this book and the rest of the series. A MUST read.
SWEET, SEXY, & HEARTWARMING!!!

Another delightful read in The Wilder Brothers Series by Sinclair Jade, and my second favorite of the entire collection! Kane, Book 4 of the series, is actually my favorite but Want Me, Cowboy is nipping at its heels. Yeah, I know that sounds a little strange since I should have read Kane after Want Me, Cowboy, but I kinda put the cart before the horse by reading the fourth book of the series first when it was featured as a freebie in my Bookbub newsletter a few days ago. Sinclair Jayne was a new-to-me author, but I’m a real sucker for anything that includes cowboys, rodeos, and romance and decided to it a whirl. I enjoyed it so much I raced back to purchase the remaining three books in the series. Best decision ever! Sinclair Jayne may be a relatively new author for me, having only read three of her books to date, but I’m truly impressed with her work and look forward to reading many more of her heartwarming stories in the future. Although each of the books features a separate couple finding love and can be read as a standalone, there is an underlying interconnected family conflict with recurring characters running throughout the series and for that reason, I highly recommend reading them sequentially to maximize your reading experience and avoid spoilers. In other words, don’t read them out of order like I did; it kinda spoiled the fun. lol… But let’s talk details.
Want Me, Cowboy is a captivating, fast-paced, easy to follow, full-length, standalone, contemporary western/cowboy romance brimming with delicious drama, heartbreaking angst, undeniable attraction, steamy passion, and sweet, soul-healing love. Sigh… So dreamy! The entire story takes place in the Marietta, Montana world during the Copper Mountain Rodeo, which serves as the backdrop for several books in a multi-author collection by Tule Publishing. Marietta is your typical western small town where secrets are hard to keep, gossip runs rampant, the rodeo is their favorite sport, and everyone knows everyone, including the details of their personal life and all their dirty laundry. Sounds like my kind of town! lol… The narrative was beautifully written in the third person with clearly discernible his and her perspectives. The dialogue was smart, snappy, raw, emotional, natural, and flowed effortlessly. I loved the premise, world, and conflict Jayne created for this story, and I especially enjoyed the small town environment and sense of community, but it’s the cast of endearing, relatable characters that totally stole the show.
I was immediately smitten with handsome champion bull rider and temporary IBR representative Luke Wilder, and the beautiful, selfless former rodeo barrel racer and now champion bull breeder Tanner McTavish completely captured my heart. When these two lonely souls meet, it was kismet, no matter how hard they tried to fight it. Luke’s a real pretty boy, like his younger brother Kane, but he’s still all alpha male, strong, broody, demanding, determined, and confident with lots of sexy swagger, yet he’s also respectful, polite, a real gentleman, and soooo swoony. And Tanner was such a loyal, intelligent, giving, sweet, lovely soul but with a heartbreaking wounded spirit. Tanner reminded me so much of a injured bird with a broken wing, trying so hard to heal, overcome her limitations, escape the shadow of her twin sister Tucker, and find a way to fly again. But despite everything, Tanner was still a strong, resilient young woman with a core of steel and a mane of fiery red hair to match her feisty personality, and she was determined to pull her weight on their family’s ranch and prove her worth to her father. Luke and his younger brother Kane had been raised by their mother Samara Wilder after being abandoned by their father at a very early age, but he was so tired his mom’s constant family drama, which is why he’d always avoided Marietta, Wyoming, his mother’s hometown and the home of his estranged grandfather Sam Wilder. But now that he’s the temporary International Bull Riders stock broker for the Marietta area, he had no choice so he decided to mix a little business with pleasure, kill two birds with one stone, so to speak – check out the available bulls at the Triple T Ranch and compete in the local Copper Mountain Rodeo Circuit for the first time ever. Of course, it didn’t help his new job or his reputation when he was banned from Grey’s Saloon for fighting on his first day in town but in Luke’s defense, he was totally innocent. It wasn’t his fault that a cute blonde mistook him for her fiance and tried to get a little too familiar with him in the bar – until she realized her mistake. And FYI, it wasn’t Tanner! lol… So cute! Luke and Tanner’s backstories just broke my heart. It’s no wonder they found comfort in each other’s company, but nothing’s ever easy for a Wilder brother, so you know there had to be a huge obstacle to overcome for Luke and Tanner to find their happy ending -and man oh man, it’s a real doozy! Luke and Tanner were total opposites in personality, yet they were kindred spirits and complemented each other perfectly. The attraction was immediate, especially for Tanner who had been admiring Luke from afar for the last five years, but both were determined to ignore it, and for very valid reasons, yet again bringing a real slow burn aspect to the story, which I always enjoy. It’s always so much fun watching the two protagonists dance around each other, trying to avoid the inevitable, especially when it’s believable, and Sinclair Jayne is the queen of slow burn, always making the push/pull of a blossoming romance feel realistic. No spoilers from me but I will say this… A handsome, broody champion bull rider who had no plans to ever fall in love again-check! A beautiful, intelligent bull breeder who always put everyone else’s needs before her own and had no time for love-check! A thoughtless, spoiled, self-absorbed twin sister with no boundaries, a big mouth, no filter, and no shame-check! Several unexpected plot twists that even surprised the heck out of me-check! Family drama, angst, heartbreak, humor, a wonderful cast of characters, and a heartwarming love story that will tug at your heartstrings-you bet! That and a whole lot more!
So, did like this book? Yes, very much! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain a little profanity and several steamy, dreamy sex scenes. But if I enjoyed this book so much, then why only four stars? Overall, the book was well crafted, but there was an unusually high number of typos along with minor little boo-boos that would have been so simple to correct and should have been caught in the final editing/proofreading process. I’m not trying to be critical, just honest. Enough said. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! As I stated earlier, I enjoyed the fourth book of the series so much that I raced back to purchase the first three books. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, sobbed, and fumed with anger through the entire story but by the end, I was happy, satisfied, well entertained, and grinning like a loon. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Wow I’m just at a lost for words. Really. I’m not sure what to write in this review. Okay well let me start by saying that this book just wasn’t for me. But I know a lot of readers that would love this book. It’s all about personal taste and this just had some things that didn’t work for me. I’ll just say what didn’t work for me and you can decide for yourself.
Want Me, Cowboy, is the 3rd book in the 78th Copper Mountain Rodeo series, but each book is written by different authors. I really wished they would have all been by one author or tied in better. They all felt a little disconnected. This book was rough for me right out the gate. For the first few chapters I struggled to get use to this author’s writing style. The odd way the author phrased things really threw me off.
Once I got use to her writing style I was drowning in drama. Now I like drama just as much as the next gal but dang. First Luke finds out that his mom has another son, he has a brother that he never met because she gave him up for adoption. He finds this out because while he is drinking a beer and minding his own business at a bar some blonde comes up behind him rubbing him up and down. When he turns around she realizes she was rubbing the wrong man. Talon the blonde doing the wrong rubbing is dating Colt, Luke’s unknown brother. Who beats Luke up for touching his woman. Okay so then Talon Luke’s long lost brother’s girlfriend shows up at Luke’s trailer and shows him a pic of a dead friend of hers. This dead friend had a baby with a cowboy she met at a rodeo a one night stand that she didn’t know his name. This friend died and left her son Parker to Talon. Now Talon just having only see Luke at the bar when she mistaken him for her boyfriend Colt, decides that because he looks somewhat like Parker and because he is a cowboy that does rodeos that he could be Parker’s daddy and wants a DNA test. Even though Luke tells her that he doesn’t remember ever meeting the dead girl and that he never did rodeo in the area she said she met her baby daddy. Still Talon wants that DNA test cause really how many cowboys with dark hair could there be?
On top of all that “this child may be yours just because you are male, but I don’t want nothing from you if he is your because your long lost brother Colt is going to marry me and adopt Parker” drama and other family drama with Luke there was tons of family drama with Tanner too. I hated Tanner’s father and twin sister Tucker. Her dad was selfish and worthless and her sister worse. All through this book we are told that Tucker is the pretty sister that sleeps with everyone. I mean everyone! What completely ruined this book for me was Tucker slept with Luke. They had hooked up 5 years ago a few times then Tucker dumped him for another cowboy and he wanted more from her. So now I have a bad taste in my mouth because ewww. The hero slept with the heroines sister, thought himself in love with her.
Now I may have been able to get over that, but then Luke keep it from Tanner. Of course he doesn’t tell her. Who needs honesty! Totally overrated. Don’t worry Tucker makes sure she knows by rubbing it in her face and coming on to Luke again. Because she has no problem with hurting her sister and sleeping with her sister’s man. I mean after all she had him first
Soooooo. Yup done. That was just too much for me to get over. I mean come on could you just see it at Thanksgiving?
