She has someone very specific in mind…And then she meets…Santa Claus.Jack Cooper was simply trying to do a good deed and now he has a hot but crazy blonde asking him to be her date to a destination wedding. Crazy For You is a fun and entertaining holiday romance by Heatherly Bell. Ms. Bell has produced a book that is well-written and populated with lovable characters. Fallon needs a man to pretend to be her fiancee and go to her ex-husband’s wedding with her. She arrives home to find Santa pinning a man to the ground only to find out the man was trying to break into her house. Santa, Jack, had just left the police force and was now deciding what he wanted to do next. Fallon and Jack’s story is loaded with drama, laugh out loud humor, action and spice. I enjoyed reading Crazy For You and look forward to my next book by Heatherly Bell. Crazy For You is book 5.5 of the Starlight Hill Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Beautiful, sweet and romantic – a perfect Christmas story full charm, tenderness and love. I recommend reading this book with a box of tissues.
A wonderful, tear-jerker of a Christmas, second chance, love story.

Fallon McQueen is a celebrity stylist to the stars, and a mom. Her life seems to be off balance when she loses her job and must go home for the holidays for her ex husbands wedding. She wants to be there to spend time with her son, but wants to avoid everything else that Starlight Hills, her former home brings her. On her way home from a party she meets Jack Cooper a retired cop who caught a burglar outside her place. Both Jack and Fallon seem to need each other and a road trip together. This is a wonderfully written strangers to lovers story!
I really enjoyed this book. The plot about getting a hot stranger to pretend to be your boyfriend in order to fool your family is certainly not unique. The author tells the story with a lot of clever & creative details. While I didn’t laugh out loud, I’m sure I smiled all the way to the end.
How do you find a date to an ex’s wedding? Apparently not through speed dating! Fallon made a mistake to get her mother off her back. She told her she was in a relationship with a tall, dark man named Bud so she couldn’t be set up with anyone again. But she couldn’t find anyone to play Bud until an ex-cop apprehends a burglar trying to break into her apartment.
Jack was a homicide detective until he caught the kind of case that haunts you, one involving a kid. He can’t get past it so he turned in his shield & is going to go find something else to do. After Fallon hits him with her offer, he decides it won’t hurt to drive up the coast to spend Christmas with his family after a quick stop to help her out.
I really enjoyed this story! Fallon is finding a way to fight back against the small town gossips that made her life so hard. She just has a tall, dark, handsome ex-cop helping her put them in their place. The plot is fairly easy but Ms. Bell uses just the right amount of emotion to get her point across in each scene. There was humor, sarcasm, family, romance & sexiness. The supporting characters are adorable. David, Fallon’s son, is a entertaining character that you can’t help falling in love with. This was a perfect homecoming story to be released at this time. I would recommend this to everyone that enjoys contemporary romances & happy endings!
