This was my first Catherine Bybee book but it certainly won’t be the last. A modern day fairy tale, the book sweeps us up in the lives of the characters, with enough sizzle to keep us on our toes. Great dialogue to go along with a fun story. The book is a stand-alone (I dislike cliffhangers), and left me wanting more, which is a good thing because …
This was a sweet, fun romance with a feisty heroine and a strong hero which is pretty much my kryptonite. I love the mix-up between “Sam” to “Samantha” and that she doesn’t take any crap for it from anyone. The characters were charming and relatable and I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, fast paced read.
I enjoy a strong woman lead and a man who isn’t intimidated by her.
This is a “you can’t put down, read it in one sitting” type of book. It has such a tight, fast-moving plot, and Catherine Bybee really knows how to push a readers buttons! Man…the angsty ache felt between the protagonists is HOT.
I love the weekday weddings collection. This one is my fave. Sweet heartfelt characters with real passion.
Catherine Bybee must know all my secret favorite tropes, because I adore matchmaker stories and WIFE BY WEDNESDAY, threw in a handsome duke who must marry, and you’ve got me hooked. This book is just one of a seven part series, and can be read as a standalone, but do read the whole series. They’re fun, sexy, charming, compelling and page …
Contract marriages are one of my favorite tropes and I have been wanting to start this series for a while now. I read the spinoff series and was super intrigued to see how it all began. I like that it begins with the woman who started it all.
Sam started the Agency that pairs Socialites up with very rich men who need a wife. It’s more of a …
Audiobook: Narrator – Tanya Eby
This is my first by this narrator and I really enjoyed her performance. Her voice was extremely engaging and I instantly felt a connection to the characters as she vocalized their personalities. Would definitely listen to her again.
I loved how there was no pretense between the hero and heroine. Everything …
Catherine Bybee certainly started her Weekday Bride series, off to a great start with this page-turning tale. Blake Harrison was certainly taken aback when the Sam Elliot he was supposed to meet turned out to be Samantha. I loved the dynamics between the characters and that the problems that arose between them were not over-blown but totally …
Love the whole series.
Very enjoyable story. It started out as a marriage solely of convenience due to mistreating wealthy individuals. There are several surprise turns in the story so you keep going and don’t put the book down. I recommend this author as I’ve read several of her books and to date none have let me down. I look forward to reading more books by Ms Bybee. …
