START with KISS OF A DRAGON (Book 1)
Lucian is a Dragon Prince of the House of Smoke… and he’s dying. When he rescues a beautiful woman from a demon roaming the streets of Seattle, he has to seduce her without losing his heart… and before he turns into a feral dragon and breaks the treaty forever.
The Fallen Immortals series is a modern Beauty and the Beast story with flaming HOT dragon shifters, vengeful Dark Fae, and beguiling fallen angels. Lucian and Arabella’s story is told in the first three books of the 9-book series, with more planned after that. I love love love all the books from Fallen Immortals. As I read book 1 the brothers all hoped that their oldest brother would find love and happiness, and to have an heir to save their family. But, they are in for such a wonderful wild ride. I could not put these books down !
Lucian and Arabella are still dancing around each other, though Lucian is more afraid to fall for her due to the possibility she won’t survive – him chasing her and making her his. But when danger one more time lurks around the corner he has to make a decission to not only bond for life with Arabella but to save menkind as well. A very entertaining story of two people/dragons being made for each other.
I am so proud of Arabella for being the strong one in the relationship to know that this union would be the one that would heal them both. I was rather disappointed that Lucian would be so selfish to do what he did. I know that sooner or later what he has given the Vampires will either come to bite him in the ass or be an asset.
I love how close disaster comes and horrible stuff happening just to turn around when you think all is lost. This story has me on the edge of my seat.
If you want want a really HOT PAGE TURNER, MUST READ THIS !!!
Oh for misplaced guilt. Such is Lucian’s tale. This story is frustratingly wonderful. Arabella puts up with so much is this tale you can’t help but be a little mad at Lucian. The family is so behind these two coming together. Sweet read and I can’t wait for the next one
I received an ARC for an honest review. Alisa Woods writes good books, definitely enjoyable. I think a reader needs to read the first book in the series (“Kiss of a Dragon”) or you might miss out on some of the reasons/details/info to explain things that were going on in this book. I felt the first book was much better than this one, but this book “Heart of a Dragon” (second in the series) was definitely worth reading.
Love love love these also
this is the second book of a 9 book series “Fallen Immortals” and each story follows on to the next. You need to read the first 3 books to get to the one HEA ending. . Enjoyed each book enough to read the entire 9 books series.
Each book is better than the last
Book 2 pretty much picks up where we left off, Lucian wants Arabella to go to keep her safe but she’s having none of it. Watching these two is quite amusing. Lucian is trying to push her away yet is so protective of her. Arabella believes she loves him but has many doubts about how he feels, yet she stands her ground and doesn’t leave. It shows how easily we are willing to deny ourselves because of fear or our past. I’m now looking forward to seeing what transpires between Cinaed and Rachel. Those two are constantly at each others throats and it seems to me that Rachel is causing the conflict to keep him from getting too close. They are almost as much fun as Lucian and Arabella, wanting each other but building walls. Can’t wait to read the next book!!
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
