These had a different twist since they were historical fiction. It was interesting how the characters had to act in that time period and how things were done. I always enjoy historical fiction and even more so when there is a series of books.
I enjoy all of her books. They are not awe inspiring, but fun w/a bit of historical references. Her mysteries are entertaining, and I like her characters. Just fun reads…not serious reading.
If you enjoy a history (historic San Francisco) lesson mixed with mystery and murder this is the series for you.
I like these books. They have a strong female lead character. Even though she is often hampered by the limits put on women in this time period she find a way to do what she wants/needs to do.
