The final Guardians Trilogy novel from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Bay of Sighs and Stars of Fortune. As the hunt for the Star of Ice leads the six guardians to Ireland, Doyle, the immortal, must face his tragic past. Three centuries ago, he closed off his heart, yet his warrior spirit is still drawn to the wild. And there’s no one more familiar with the wild than Riley—and the … familiar with the wild than Riley—and the wolf within her…
An archaeologist, Riley is no stranger to the coast of Clare, but now she finds herself on unsure footing, targeted by the dark goddess who wants more than the stars, more than the blood of the guardians. While searching through Irish history for clues that will lead them to the final star and the mysterious Island of Glass, Riley must fight her practical nature and admit her sudden attraction to Doyle is more than just a fling. For it is his strength that will sustain her and give her the power to run towards love—and save them all…

This was the third book of the guardians trilogy. What I love about Nora Roberts’ trilogies is the creative way she ties the characters and story together with drama and flair as well as making it seem real in many ways. The only down side is that it’s over. Wonderful read!
Island of Glass is the final installment of the Guardians Trilogy. This book focuses on Riley and Doyle’s relationship (not really a spoiler for anyone familiar with Nora Roberts’s trilogies) and the search for the Ice Star. This trilogy bears some resemblance to the Key Trilogy (individuals tasked by the gods to find important items). The Key Trilogy is my favorite of her trilogies, so I enjoyed the similar aspects in these books. I also loved that this third novel takes place in Ireland as I have enjoyed her other Irish-centered novels.
Riley and Doyle are my favorite couple in this series. I found them to be the most interesting characters. I enjoyed seeing how Doyle explored his past and his feelings regarding his future. I was very satisfied with how the characters personal stories were ended, although I felt the ultimate resolution to the star search was a little anti-climatic.
What a wonderful end to this trilogy. The characters were amazing and loved watching their relationships and personalities all unfold. The book definitely has the paranormal, fantasy world going on but I could not put it down.
Its only one in a series so you must read these in the order written. Great “super natural” stories. Loved them.
Really liked this book and the others in the series
Third in the Trilogy. Wraps up the items from the previous two books. An easy read and light is what I needed at this time. Quick one
All Nora Roberts’ trilogies are great!
I have read the whole series. Loved the books.
Loved this trilogy
Back to Ireland where I would just happily ditch real life and go to anytime! This was a lovely ending to a fun series! Gotta say the last few chapters made the series though! Enjoy your HEA!
This is the third book in this series and you really need to read the first two. If you aren’t into magic and legends you won’t love these as much as I do.
have red two of the three books .loved them .still haven’t read the third one.nora Roberts is one of my favorite authers.
This book was a part of a series that you cannot read one without reading the whole series. Nora gives you exciting experiences and thrills throughout this book as well as the others. The main characters are an eclectic group of individuals with their own special strengths.
Loved, loved, loved this series and all of its characters! If you enjoy a story of good vs evil, Nora is the queen!
Book 3 of the Guardians Trilogy, this story focus on Doyle (Immortal) and Riley (Lycan & Archaeologist) in their quest to Ireland to find the the final star with the help of the other guardians. Doyle and Riley are my favorite couple in this trilogy.
Still reading but loving this book! Hoping for a good ending……..
