Videos of Jack having sex with a man who mutilated teenagers for fun should have stayed dead and buried, just like the man who filmed them. Yet when footage of Jack’s past starts appearing on Internet porn sites, Jack’s whole world is again turned on its head.At first, the videos merely unsettle Jack’s fire and ice world of Gray Raoul’s BDSM kink and Jan Richards’ gentle, vanilla touch. But when … when the videos get more extreme, even Gray turns his back on Jack, isolating him from the full protection of the Masters’ Circle. Jack soon finds himself at the mercy of a group of men set on altering Jack’s perceptions of BDSM– and himself–as brutally as possibleJack’s sex life is now on camera for a whole new audience. (M/M+)

So If finally finished it. This books is a perfect rollercoaster of emotions and suspense. The topics in this book could trigger so be aware. I enjoyed it. I’m a bit detached, so it didn’t really phase me. I will say the emotions that the three characters experienced made me feel for them. Especially Grey. He was the hard and seruous one so when he broke down my heart broke. That fact that Jack showed a Dom in a vulnerable state made me smile. Being that powerless to help those he loved was relatable.
One word…Martin. That caught me by surprise.
The events that occurred were beautifully foreshadowed but difficult to guess. At least for me. I didn’t even consider that person as the perpetrator. This one is my favorite so far and I recommend it as a read if you can handle the sexual abuse that occurs on page. It’s graphic so be warned.
I give this book 5 stars =^.^= I can’t wait to dig into book 3.
Incredibly dark and extremely well written. An excellent read, but not for the faint of heart.
This series is not for the faint at heart. If you dot like violence and Noncon… back away now. Also, you must read or listen to book One Don’t first as this picks up after.
I am going to admit These books take me a little longer to get through than some. It is not that they are not gripping or interesting it is just the content that is very rough. I’ll also admit this one is so harch I nearly quit a couple of times but decided to push through since I wanted to see where the series goes. Now having said this… The story is great. The characters are intriguing, it is well written and keeps you on your toes but you must pay close attention. I think part of the problem for me was that there is a lot of memories or dream sequences and it was hard to make that known in the narration so I got lost a couple of time. I will say I chewed my nails to nubs and cried in this one a lot. Oh and I forgot to mention the twists and the shocking ending. my jaw still hurts from dropping to the floor.
The narration is perfect. Dan Calley has the perfect accent for these men and brings the story to life. he keeps you pulled in. Every time he says doesn’t I cringe now.
If you like a dark romance, Don’t mind violence and rape I think you will like this series. it is dark and twisted and oh so good.
I started this after reading and listening to the discretionary warnings and got through the first few chapters effortlessly. Then…bam! I put my Fire and ebook copy aside, read and listened to a bit more the next day, and the next, then reached that point where I couldn’t stop.
I don’t know what it is. The writing is faultless and I’m thoroughly invested in the 3 main characters (Jan is my favourite). The development of the plot is breathtaking and I lived every minute of it. The chance to see a more “human” Gray is worth waiting for. I did realise who is behind things and the probable reasoning fairly early on, but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment.
Narrator Dan Calley is excellent once again. I love all his different voices, even the female ones, and I swear I hear Jack’s “f” word in my sleep!
I have both the audiobook and ebook of Book 3 already and can’t wait to see where things go.
Cannot get enough of Jack Harrison.
