The bestselling Lush Rock Star series continues with this cross-over to a new band, a new challenge, and a hot new love.
She’s Everything That’s Lush…
Tully O’Roark just scored the most coveted job in rock and roll: keyboardist and backup vocalist for the world-famous Lush. Now she has to earn the trust of Joss, Walsh, Mike, and Colin, if she’s going to have a place in the band that’s also a … that’s also a family.
He’s the Rhapsody She Can’t Resist…
Peterson “Blaze” Davis is the Type A lead guitarist for Rhapsody, and his long-standing feud with Lush’s Mike Owens is about to heat up. As the two bands embark on a summer tour together Blaze has his sights set on Lush’s sexy new keyboardist, and he’s not going to let a little bad blood come between them.
It’s a Battle of the Bands…
When the NFL announces that Lush and Rhapsody are in competition for the coveted Super Bowl half-time concert slot, Blaze sees a chance to finally come out on top. He’s ready to press every advantage he’s got, including Tully.
And There Can Only Be One Winner…
As the attraction between Tully and Blaze roars to life, they must each make hard choices–their bands or each other? Can two lovers from rival bands find a way to have it all? Or will one of them choose wrong and lose their band and their heart?

This story starts off slowly and it has way too many characters to remember. That’s my fault for starting with this book instead of A Lush Betrayal but this is the first book for the Rhapsody band so it’s ok.
There are two bands with at least four or five members each and there’s some history of bad blood between these guys. There’s the band Lush and there’s Rhapsody and Tully is the new band member keyboardist to Lush and she’s beautiful and tiny, I love that Blaze calls her Short Stack. He’s the lead guitarist of Rhapsody and he’s gorgeous. Tully calls him her Viking dream and he sounds hot. I love that he’s protective of her, even from the start. They share painful history of mistreatment from their parents and that bonds them. The more I read this story the more I love it. Blaze is smart, talented, romantic and so damn sweet. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. When they finally got together I thought my Kindle was going to explode into a ball of fire, it was hot! I loved that her band gave her permission to date Blaze even though they hate him and I can clearly see the disaster heading their way before I even read it because he’s acting just like the man he hates most. The two bands are competing for a big gig and Blaze is willing to ruin everything that’s important for something that’s clearly not. In this game to be the winner Blaze almost loses everything but this is a romance and you know the old saying, the bigger they are the harder they fall. Well the fall was hard but the ending was epically romantic. I’m a sucker for a happy ending and this ending was fabulous. I loved this book and I’m giving it five stars and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to start the next book.
This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

This was a great read. I thought the story was very well written and flowed well. The story kept me glued to the pages to see how everything would turn out. I loved the characters and had this read in one sitting. I would highly recommend this read.
I liked that there was a female added to the band. Tully and her story gives this book a different perspective. The feud between Tully’s band and Blaze’s and any start of a forbidden relationship makes this a slightly heightened read. I love that they can bond with their family issues, but Blaze was so different with Tully than what his character had revealed. It is interesting to read about people with addiction. Even with a fictional book it can give readers who aren’t familiar insight about what an addict may go through, and what they may choose to sacrifice.
A wonderful story to read. A young woman who gets the chance of her life to become part of an existing famous band. And fall in love with a musician of a rival band. How do you do that, how do you keep it alive while everyone around you has a bad feeling about it?
Blaze is not a sweetheart and feels a lot of resentment towards his father. His father who put him out of the house because he did not follow the path his father had laid out for him. To prove himself to his father, no limits are too far for him …… not even if it costs the love of his life. Tammy is also touched by his acts and he realizes too late what his revenge on his father has cost him. Was this worth it, does love really conquer everything?
You will have to read the book yourself to find out.

This is an engaging story about two people who find themselves while pursuing their love of music. Tully and Blaze are in different bands, that is complicated enough. Add in bad choices and it makes for a story where love and redemption must intermingle to bring us to the culmination of their story.

This falls along with the Lush series, which was fantastic, and this book didn’t stray from that. Tully and Blaze have chemistry and flaws, there are screw ups and repercussions.

This is the second book I’ve read by this author and I couldn’t stop reading. The plot, characters, ad work usage were amazing. I loved watching the story unfold and the developing relationships. Tully and Blaze were awesome. Each member has their own story and finding their love is the hardest one of all! It’s a definite must read for and fan of this author and I can’t wait to read more by this author!!!
