TRUST – verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.
Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, … Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.
After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.
Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

Ella Frank and Shannon Gunn had me fighting to hold back sobs in this installment of the Temptation series. As cliche and overused as the phrase is…this book is genuinely an epic rollercoaster ride. It’s the kind that you see the drop before you get on and psych yourself up. The closer you get to the front of the line, the more your heart tries to beat out your chest but you convince yourself you have this. As you get into the car, you contemplate whether or not the protective bar is enough to keep you from hurtling to your death. Once you’ve convinced yourself its probably fine (I mean the previous riders are still alive and you watched them leave) you sit down and strap in. You smile at your friends and fellow riders even though you are starting to freak out internally. The ride begins and you burst into uncontrollable laughter. You start racing for the first incline and it’s perfectly entertaining. The laughter turns into enjoyment just as it ticks up the what feels like 90 degree incline. Now the fears starts to outweigh your enjoyment…
Logan and Tate have given you everything thus far. They have strapped you into this beautiful, sexy, fun ride. They’ve given you epically erotic encounters to fantasize about, and they have given you hardships to try and overcome.
Just when you think you are about to get off this crazy ride, you realize that ticking ticking isn’t the end of the ride stopping. NOPE (loud P popping). You have just stopped at the crest- not only that but as you look down to the tracks, they disappear from view. Oh you can see the finish line, but you don’t know if the tracks are broken part way down. Your view is compromised. You have to trust! The machine, the operator, and the company responsible for maintaining it. And now, your mind starts spinning…
Trust is that moment before you free fall into utter joy or complete and total destruction. Enjoy the highs and lows. The thrill is 100% worth it. I just wish Ella Frank sold the photo OP as part of the package! lol. I would do a Logan and Tate selfie sandwich any day!
Ella Frank did it again! I have read Try, Take and now Trust all in the matter of a week. I had to see what was going to happen, where this story was going and were Logan and Tate going to get there HEA???
I’ve seen a lot of negative thoughts on this book and I don’t know why. To me these three books were like I read one long a** book that kept on going because there was never a full on HEA just the continuation of a big picture story with smaller stories included. I am not sure if that even made sense.
Trust was more on the sweeter side compared to the first two but I kind of enjoyed that. Couples don’t generally have sex that much throughout an entire relationship. After the “honeymoon phase” couples fall into life with real problems and real obstacles to overcome. To me Tate really came into his sexuality and his love for Logan in this book which is what I have been waiting for. He never hesitated to be Logan’s partner or stand up for their relationship which is so HOT to me.
Don’t get me wrong this book isn’t a fluff book with sweet moments of sugary goodness, this book very much had the same feel as the first two but with more love and passion. This book was plenty sexy, and I still had so many “oh damn” moments from their shared dialogue. I loved this book every bit as much as Try and Take.
This was supposed to be a trilogy originally, but Frank added three more books to this series and those books haven’t got the best reviews, but I do hope we get a serious HEA for these two hot MC’s.
5+***
Wow!!
With tears streaming down my cheeks and and smile on my face, I’m sad this series is finished.
The imperfectly perfect romantic love story. I couldn’t get enough of Tate and Logan. Both strong men, who find the perfect love in each other. This ride has it all. I laughed, cried, I was pissed, I was turned on and in the end I am envious.
Read this series, you will not be disappointed, I dare you!
5 PERFECT stars
I felt like I had been waiting FOREVER for Trust to be released but come on… if you read Try & Take, you NEEDED more Tate & Logan just as much as I did!
The third installment of the Temptation series wrapped up most (if not all) of the open storylines from Trust. There were a couple of surprises and plenty of hot steamy sex between these perfect men! It wasn’t all mushy, there WAS drama and it did crush me. This story was beautifully written and while it COULD end here, I for one, hope Ms Frank writes more about Tate & Logan.
*****
POV … 3rd person
stand alone or series… part 3 of a series (read in order)
would I recommend it … YES
did it give me a book hangover… YES
would I read it again … YES
This series has been on the edge of my chair and I cannot get enough of Logan and Tate, they have a passion that jumps off the page and grabs you by the heartstrings and takes you along for the adventure they are developing as they go. They are determined to make a relationship that neither had seen coming, that has slammed into their lives and made them become one. Protecting each other and their hearts from a combustible romance that is worth the trust they have given!
Oh, how I have missed Logan and Tate. They are one of the hottest and most passionate couples I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The chemistry is not only off the charts but throw in their personalities and they make one amazing couple. You have seen them Try, Take and now it is time to Trust!
Logan and Tate have gone through a lot in their short time together and now it is time to see if they are ready for the next steps in their relationship. They haven’t been in one for long but it has been a short road with many obstacles and what they do know is that they love each other. But is that enough?
Tate needs to know that Logan can open up to him about his past since it can become their present. He doesn’t want to just hear that everything is fine, he wants to know the truth and he will do whatever it takes to get Logan to let him know what he is actually feeling. Logan wants the same from Tate and a reason why he is refusing to say yes to an important plan that Logan wants. Now. Can they trust each other and know that they are staying upfront with their relationship, wants and needs?
God, I love this couple hard. They might be opposites in many ways but what they do have in common is their dirty minds, stubbornness, smart-ass banter and humor. They are one of my favorite book couples of all-time.
Overall…Trust was sexy, funny, emotional and sweet. I actually cried more than one time and never I thought I would tear up reading a sentence including blow job. I also laughed and got all hot and bothered. It was a great combo.
Quotes:
“Did you have somewhere in mind…sir?”
“Just know that, tonight, I plan to savor my meal. So I hope you’re not in a rush and can show some patience.”
“I heard you, but if you want to bend me to your will tonight, you’re going to have to make me.” And with that, he took Tate’s mouth in a fiery kiss.
I’m officially a fan of the Temptation Series. Each book just gets better and better. Logan and Tate’s relationship is so strong and magnetic. They are absolutely perfect for each other. Their love burns so ferociously and blazes as hot as their sex and temper. I love each development in their relationship. Each obstacle that pops in their way, both Logan and Tate bulldoze through it with huge determination and focus.
It was well worth the wait. I absolutely love Logan and Tate. This third book, I just really enjoyed and loved reading it. They are one HOT couple and so very good for each other.
I’ve never read a series like this before and I recommend it so very much. You can’t help but fall in love with Logan and Tate. A love like theirs is very hard to find.
Love love love them!
This series was recommended to be by a fellow book lover and wow why I have I never read an Ella Frank book until Try? I am now thoroughly obsessed with the twisty, angsty, sexy love story of Tate and Logan! Excellent writing and raw emotion makes this series feel so gritty and real. Like having a private view into these men’s lives. Looking forward to continuing on their journey in the next installment.
Logan and Tate are my favorite M/M couple. Sexy, Hot, Romantic… they are everything. I’m so glad to have them back!
Trust (Temptation Series Book 3) by Ella Frank
This is book three of Logan and Tate’s story.
Wow! This series is so amazing! Book three is another great addition to this series. I feel as if Logan and Tate are my friends. Once you start reading this series you will want to devour the rest of the books in it.
I was hooked from the beginning to the end. Logan and Tate’s emotions literally jump off the pages. With Logan and Tate you experience fun, difficult, and extremely heated times. It’s amazing how the author makes the reader feel the love and passion between these two. Oh my! The passion was off the charts. This story covers so many different emotions. I fell in love with Logan and Tate from the beginning and their story will stay with me for a long time. I wish they were real people that you could go visit. The supporting characters were great too.
This story had some really great intimate scenes but is so much more than that. It is so hard to explain a story that just speaks to your heart. This is one of the best loves stories I have ever read. Logan and Tate are perfect for each other but their journey is not an easy one but there is no way you can’t see how much they truly feel for each other. This series is a must read.
This is a MM romance but to me it’s just about two people that are truly in love and care deeply for each other. FYI, contains mature content. I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Trust me when I say this…if you’ve been putting off reading this series like I have, don’t! Go start it right now, you will not be sorry! I had Try and Take on my Kindle for almost 3 years when I finally binged all three books this weekend. Ella Frank announced recently that there would be 3 more books to this series, with the 4th one coming in May, so I figured there was no better time than now to get caught up. The only thing I’m sorry about is the fact I missed out on loving these guys for so long! After reading Try, Take, and Trust I totally and completely understand the love so many people have for Logan and Tate, why they are one of the ultimate fictional m/m couples.
“No,” Logan finally said, and Tate felt his heart sink. “I’ll never see you that way again. Because before this, I din’t know you were essential for me to feel alive.”
There’s just so much I enjoyed about this book. The characteristics of Logan and Tate that I’ve grown to love were still there, but there was so much development to their characters here. Logan was still his commanding, arrogant self, but he finally let down his guards and we were able to see more of his true self shine through. Tate really came into his own in Trust- he showed a different side that was both powerful and dominant, and lord it was a sight to behold. I loved seeing these two kind of switch places in a way, seeing a more forceful side to Tate and a softer side to Logan.
If this had truly been the conclusion to Logan and Tate’s wonderfully special love story, it couldn’t have ended better. Ms. Frank gave us a beautiful and heartfelt story of love, devotion, commitment, caring, and strength. And heat, I can’t let this review pass without mentioning the heat between Logan and Tate. These books have been so unbelievably hot I was pretty sure my kindle was going to go up in flames a few times. But it’s the love that stands out most of all- so much love between these two, it radiated off the pages.
