This was a very enjoyable book and it took my mind off the craziness going on in the world at this time.
Exceptionally well done ! Beautiful characters. Realistic setting in San Francisco at the time of the great earthquake. Highly recommend !
I enjoyed reading about the history of San Francisco and Chinatown in the 1900’s.
The historical events in the story are well research, dealing with the plague, the treatment of the Chinese people living in Chinatown and their culture. This is a very well written story with well developed characters. The story has suspense with many surprises along with a good love story. Highly recommend.
