3.5 stars – Kenzie and Remy are two tortured souls that recognize something in the other almost immediately but it takes them – well, really Kenzie – time to figure it out, how they can heal one another and move forward. I found the first third of the book to be slow as a lot of building blocks were put into place. Once these two collide, the explosion sets a new pace for the book. Be prepared for some two-steps-forward-one-step-back action that keeps the ride bumpy.
Overall, I liked the book. I wanted to abandon it several times but slowly pushed through. Some suspense is thrown in toward the end that gives it that extra umph which improves the pace and allows it to have a sweeter ending.
A multi-layered story with amazing characters. The present work load with future dreams in the music industy is what drives Kenzie and Remy. They both have pasts that have them tightly tied together with more in common then they know. A great story about too young talented characters with shared musical dreams and a hard time trusting. Enjoy!

3.5
This was a good read, but not a great read. I enjoyed Remy and Kenzie, but they seemed very immature at times to the point it was distracting. But we get our HEA!

This one wasn’t hard for me to enjoy at all. I love musician books. Nashville is one of my favorite places ever. I love the idea that musician walks into a diner and falls for the waitress. This waitress, however, isn’t simple girl next door. She wants a music career too. I think Remi was a good boy with a slight bad boy disguise. I loved that. I also loved that they fought their attraction. It was a slow burn.
Kenzie and Remy’s story was cute and enjoyable for a rockstar romance.
This was a nice story. It has drama and romance and is unique as far as the story telling. The sequence with which this author writes is set up so that the story flows pretty smoothly. It is a bit jagged in some places but it catches up with itself. The character and world building is very sleek. This author did an amazing job creating this world and delivering it in a package that the reader can fall into. It was a really good story..

I love Remy and Kenzie. This is a sweet, rockstar romance with heart. Kenzie and Remy have pasts and they’re both trying to move forward but together, it seems they can do it. It’s sexy and sweet and one story you won’t be able to put down.
I liked Remy and Kenzie although Kenzie could be very naive. I just had a hard time becoming emotionally invested in them.
This was a great book. Kenzie and Remy were great together. These both have been hurt by people how they though loved them but turned and betrayed them however, that did not stop either of them from pursuing their dreams. I love the instant connection between Kenzie and Remy but also how well they compliment each other. This book has mystery, suspense, steam, longing, action with some strong sassiness heroin and alpha moments and a little of retelling of abuse. I would highly recommend this book!

Kenzie and Remy’s journey is anything but easy with a past that comes back and turns things up side down. Each character fights and struggles for what they want in life, career and love.
I enjoyed their story and keep me engrossed from start to finish.

Precious Gems is book one and a great start to The Blake Brothers series. When Gemma is sent to deliver a package to Faron things take a wicked twist as she realizes her father set her up. This is a steamy read filled with mystery, suspense, insta love and a story that held my attention from beginning to end. I look forward to reading the rest of The Blake Brothers series.
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I love Remy and Kenzie’s banter, the chemistry and heat between them. Everyone has a past and sometimes they come back to haunt you, can you get past it or will the past suck you back in? I like the way the author let us watch as she weaves their hearts and minds together on this journey called love. Great read, I found this book on BookSprout.
