Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy! She’s good at achieving her goals… shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.
But the game just got a whole lot more complicated
Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

The Goal is the fourth book in Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series. & unfortunately the end of this series
Sabrina James will do just about anything to get out Boston’s slum. She had dream of being a attorney as long as she can remember, & she will stop at nothing to make it reality.
John Tucker is a hockey player, but like his roommate’s & teammates he has a dream of owning his business after graduation- not going Pro… I loved Tucker throughout this whole series. Mind you all the males in this series are amazing, but just something special about Tucker- He is so lovable, dependable & kindhearted – & omg that sexy Texan voice of his
One night change both their life’s forever
Sabrina was very cold at times in this book- even after we found out what her home life was like, I thought she was going to open up heart to Tucker sooner. It seem like it took too damn long for Sabrina to admit that she loved Tucker….At times the book was somewhat too predictable
This is exactly why I fell in love with the Off-Campus series in the first place. I loved The Deal, enjoyed The Mistake and The Score. The Goal surprised me and was just as good if not better than The Deal. The Score ended on such a note that I couldn’t help but being excited. After finishing The Goal I can honestly say that it surpassed my expectations.
When I was first introduced to Sabrina in The Score my first impression was that she was a cold and selfish woman and of course she couldn’t be further from it. Sabrina was a determined and vulnerable woman. I liked that she had goals and aspirations for her life. Even though she put up a dismissive front she was a strong and loving woman. John Tucker brought out all of her beautiful and wonderful sides but he was also the right guy for her even though she wouldn’t admit it. Tucker was a gorgeous, sweet gentleman who was taught well from his mother. It didn’t take long for him to woo me. He just had to be Tucker.
Together sparks flew and their attraction was sizzling. It was obvious that it was more than just sex but Sabrina was a woman who didn’t commit and let people inside because of abandonment issues. I loved how Tucker approached her, gave her space and time so she could deal with her feelings. When it really mattered Sabrina stepped up and proved that she was nothing like her family. Sabrina and Tucker were a perfect match and they worked together flawlessly.
The other guys and their girls appeared too and it was an added bonus. Sabrina’s two girlfriends Carin and Hope were hilarious and the perfect support for Sabrina.
The Goal was sublimely written and reaffirmed why I love this series. These hockey guys are simply fantastic. Tucker is now my favorite.

I have been looking forward to the goal coming out and I was not disappointed, Elle Kennedy has done an awesome job finishing this series with an awesome book.
I loved Tucker and I think all us girls need a tucker in our life, he was patient, kind, hot, a nice guy and you fell in love with him in the earlier books but in this book he just shined I loved him.
Sabrina was such a driven, sassy, and strong character and finally someone wrote a book where the female has an sex drive and the way she purves on Tucker all the time and the author just wrote what a girl can think perfectly. I know I will look at a guy and think of all the things I would like to do to a sexy man. So thank you for writing a female just as purvey as me lol.
This book had you from the start and just really didn’t let you put it down it was so good and I am looking forward to the spin-off series
Loved loved loved this book and deserves way more than 5+++++ stars
John Tucker wins my award for swooniest ginger hero. : ) And I’m SO happy that Sabrina got her HEA. This story is full of emotional goodness, and I absolutely loved it! Great addition to the series. The pacing/relationship was a little slow for me, but overall everything was done with two thumbs up!
: )
Sabrina James has always had a plan. Graduate from college, get into a great law school, get a job at a high paying law firm, and escape from her less than stellar past. Anything that doesn’t help her towards her goals doesn’t deserve her attention, hockey player John Tucker included. But when one great night together leads to regularly seeing each other and then the discovery that she’s pregnant, Sabrina has to figure out if she can still attain all her goals when also having all these new things she never thought she’d actually want.
But Tucker, he knows exactly what he wants. And that’s Sabrina. She’s gorgeous and ambitious and brilliant and now that she’s having his baby, he just wants her even more. He’s always been the nurturing type and, thanks to hockey, understands the importance of teamwork. But Sabrina’s spent years only counting on herself, so Tucker knows he’s got his work cut out for him if he ever wants to convince her that she doesn’t have to carry all of her burdens alone.
One of my favorite things about series, especially series by Elle Kennedy, is finally getting to see inside the brain of characters you’ve grown to love (or hate, in the case of Sabrina) from other novels. And The Goal definitely delivered on that. I’ve been totally enamored and intrigued by Tucker since the very beginning. I mean, he’s the gang’s mother hen and always seemed to have a bit of mystery surrounding him. I had a feeling I was going to love him and I wasn’t wrong. I loved his relationship with his mother and how mature he felt, especially compared to the other guys in this series. He was utterly swoon worthy.
But even better than finally getting a taste of Tucker was finally finding out more about Sabrina. We’d gotten little details about her previously and some backstory when it came to her feud with Dean, but I loved seeing everything from her point of view. Kennedy did a brilliant job of taking her from the ice queen bitch Dean saw her as and making us understand her real motivations. I ended up finding her to be a much more interesting and nuanced character than I ever would have expected.
And the two main characters together were everything I could have wanted. Sabrina is an incredibly strong and independent woman, sometimes to her own detriment, and Tucker was the perfect man to counterbalance that. Even when they disagreed, which happened often, Kennedy did an amazing job of making sure every detail showed how much respect the characters had for each other, which helped the relationship feel real and mature. It constantly made me think that yes, they could in fact raise a baby together.
The only reason I didn’t love this book quite as much as I have all the previous books in the Off Campus series is because of the pacing in the first half. The timeline of the beginning of this book runs concurrent with The Score, and having read the two books back to back, I felt like the story in The Goal started to drag a bit for me. There were certain aspects that I was intrigued to see a fresh perspective on and I liked finally getting the answers to the bit of mystery that surrounded Tucker in Dean’s book, but overall, I just wanted to move on. And once that happened, I found myself loving the book more.
I’ve enjoyed this series from the very start and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on The Goal. There was always something mysterious to Tucker that just left me itching to know his story. Thankfully, we finally got it!
John Tucker is one of the stars of Briar University’s hockey team. He’s always been the supportive guy both on the ice and in his personal life. So it only makes sense that he would be the same way with the mother of his unborn child. Unfortunately, she’s not really interested in him being all that involved.
Sabrina James has worked her entire life to make sure she is successful in the future. That also means that she comes off as rude or stuck up because she doesn’t have time for failure. She isn’t easy going when it comes to making a life for herself. When her friends convince her to blow off some of that tension her crazy schedule creates, she ends up hooking up with her favorite type of guy. An athlete who should be emotionally unattached and looking for no strings attached. Trying to keep the hansom John Tucker at arms lengths becomes even more impossible when she becomes pregnant. Will she be able to accept Tucker’s help or will she continue down her one woman path to ensure her future ends up exactly how she always planned it?
I’m just going to start with Tucker. A Southern gentleman with charm and manners who can easily sweep a woman off her feet. It’s no secret that Tucker falls for Sabrina quickly and normally I’m kind of put off by that but somehow he makes it work. It must be all that Southern charm. He’s kind, patient, caring and has one hot, dirty mouth!
What surprised me the most was how much I actually ended up liking Sabrina. Encounters with her in previous books showed her as being a bitch. However, this book shows us the real Sabrina James. A woman who is strong, determined, loving, caring and has a great sense of humor. Tucker immediately recognized that she is a normal woman who is vulnerable just like everyone else.
“I see flashes of vulnerability in her bottomless dark eyes and I just want to…take care of her.”
I loved seeing just how vulnerable she really was because it made her so much more relatable. Tucker is the perfect person to balance her out. She’s feisty and loves control. He’s calm and supportive. Together, they are perfect for each other.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. We get the normal hot hockey player like we do from the previous books but this time we get a little bit of a sweet charmer that easily wins everyone over. You don’t want to miss out on their story so get this now!
Oh I just loved this book so much! Tucker reminds me so much of my husband. I mean he’s not a 6’3″ bearded ginger with a southern accent. No, not that part. But the kind, decent and super sweet part. Tucker was raised right! He’s loves his mama, respects women, has a “nurturing” side and is just an all around good egg. That to me is a huge turn on. I can’t even go there when he’s taking care of his daughter. Whew! * fans face*
I don’t know about anyone else, but I totally dig Sabrina. She has her life pretty much all planned out, knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. I get that she comes off as a bitch, but I really appreciate her ambition. She’s got balls I tell ya!
“To the outside world, Sabrina James puts on a good show of being tough and impervious to it all, but in reality, she’s vulnerable and sweet and precious.” <----#nailedit Although I'm sad that this is the last in the series, I'm so happy how these two turned out. The epilogue was great and I'm really happy that there's going to be a spinoff! So yeah, loved it like I loved the other 3 in the series!
