This one hits the right notes with a bit of steamy mixed in with the absolutely adorable ‘first crush’ innocence.
We know from Her Vigilant SEAL that Billy Anderson, Sophia’s young brother, is a perceptive caring lad. Then it’s no surprise the Billy wants to help out his classmate Rebecca Barnes. He knows something’s wrong, he’s just not what. Billy’s friends and family step up to do what they can and the Midnight Delta brothers are there with advice both solicited and otherwise.
Adorable and charming novella, we get to catch up with all the team mates on the Midnight Delta team and see adorable Billy start growing up and developing into the man he’s going to become. Loved it!
Billy is getting advise from all the SEAL’s on how to ask out Rebecca and each one tells him something different. But the main point is they are all concerned when Billy thinks something is going on at her home and she won’t talk about it. When they finally figure it out they all step in to help her. She doesn’t know if she can trust them but Billy tells her that they are for real and if she is ever in trouble to call one of them. Will he be able to take her to the school dance like he wants to or will she turn him down to like she did other guys who asked her?
Great book
What a sweet round-up novella!
This story “rounds up” all the members of Mason’s SEAL team as they each offer their individual help to Sophia’s brother, Billy, and the young lady he has his eye on. Throughout it all, we get updates on the existing couples and glimpses of what’s awaiting the still-single SEALs.
I love how this “family” pulls together to take care of their own, no matter how tangentially they’re connected. These are real-world problems, handled with genuine compassion and realistic solutions. The ending was pure bliss. I hope the author circles back to these characters after they’ve had a chance to finish growing up.
I love the Midnight Delta series. What’s not to love about the six SEALs on the team? They are all skilled, fearless and protective of anyone – not just the ones they love. We get a different look at them in SEALED with a Kiss. This isn’t an action-packed story with the SEALs saving the day. At least not with lots of guns and stuff. But they do help Billy with his problem of how to ask Rebecca out and help her in her terrible foster family situation.
Billy is 14 so asking Rebecca out is scary. He doesn’t have any experience with girls so asks his soon to be brother-in-law, Mason for advice. Before he knew it, all the SEALs were giving their opinions, too. I liked seeing the good-guy side to these men as well as how much they appreciated their women and knew they would be lost without them.
This book made me laugh and cry but left me smiling at the end.
Cute and heartwarming story about Billy Anderson that got all the SEALs involved in this poor teenagers love life.
This is a cute followup to the Midnight Delta series that focuses mainly on Billy Anderson. You met him in the first Midnight Delta book. This book was basically about the different opinions that the SEALS give Billy about a girl that he likes that might be holding onto some secrets. I liked that the guys for the most part were on the same page about their advice but yet you could see that their different personalities come through. It was nice to see the guys rally around Sophia’s brother and help him ask a girl out to a dance!
