The weather outside is frightful, but the North Pole City Tales is delightful! If you’re looking for something short and sweet to tempt your holiday sweet tooth, this series is the perfect place to start. It’s the North Pole like you’ve never seen it before, done with Charlie Cochet’s usual dash of fantastic world building with sprinkle of unforgettable characters. Perfect holiday read, especially if you’re as busy as I am this season!
Super cute holiday M/M romance. Only about 50 pages, but worth reading. I love Charlie Cochet’s writing style so this was a win for me.
This is cinnamon smelling sweet read. What a great. So cute, clever and uplifting. A quick read, 1st in a series. Noel and Tim, enemies to lovers.
As I already loved Charlie Cochet books, I was really excited when I received this book as an ARC because I was naive enough to think I was going to read another facet of Ms Cochet’s books… a nice Christmas love story…. Wrong!!! This incredible action-packed, page-turner Christmas story kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. Of course it had a cute love story between Tom and Noel, with a great HEA, but also had discrimination, intolerance, betrayal, and intrigue. Even in the North Pole and even between elves, emotions like love and happiness exists but also envy, greed and hate, so this book introduced me to a whole new amazing world. Totally loved!!! A wonderful Christmas reading!!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Mending Noel was sweet and original and completely magical. As are the other books in this series. I devoured them all!

Ms Cochet created a charming world of Winter and Christmas characters living their lives in North Pole City. While enemies to lovers relationship between Tim and Noel didn’t completely work for me – Noel was very naughty and Tim was a little bit too forgiving, the city and it’s inhabitants were an absolute delight. I loved the idea of all the well known mystical Christmas creatures as people with feelings, beliefs, politics, court intrigue and a healthy dose of magic. This was low angst, mild steam dual POV Christmas Wonderland romance. I enjoyed it.
Read this short because it’s Christmas and it was free. Short enough that it wasn’t a hate read, but I really don’t like m/m where the love interest is a bully because of their hidden crush–in this case it wasn’t exactly a case of “I’m only homophobic because I’m secretly gay” but it still had a little of that vibe, especially before you find out the real reason Noel has been bullying Tim, which is still kind of bullshit. I probably would have avoided this read if I knew it was a case of bully to love interest but the summary only mentioned two people who fought a lot because of sexual tension which comes across as a lot more two-sided. Idk. Just not my favorite vibe.
