Was hooked from the very beginning. Couldn’t wait to get to the end but hated to finish it.
If you like post apocalyptic stories then you should definitely read the Life After War series. Angela White did an amazing job on the characters..plot..storyline.. you can get the books 1-3 free on bookbub and I assure you won’t be disappointed. It is not for YA
Really great writers in the Apocalyptic genre can be counted on one hand and Angela White is one of them. This may be the best series ever but you will have to decide that yourself. There is absolutely nothing lacking in this first book, it has it all and will keep you up well past time for bed. This is my second reading of this series and it is …
Good book
Not my usual genre but got sucked in from page 1. Awesome series!
Love this series!
Very detail oriented. Many gruesome scenes described which are probably realistic. Some character interactions stretch the imagination a bit. Many typos as the series gets going. Nuclear Ashes was nearly impossible to view on Nook because it messed with the Active Reader program. I read it on my PC instead.
great story; needs editing for grammar, punctuation and sometimes character reference
Excellent series, I have all eight and am anxiously waiting on the next book in the saga. Highly recommend, although the first few books have graphic and disturbing cruelty among the survivors.
Third book in a series about the Vikings making their way to North America by a northern route. It’s a story about settlements in Markland and later, Vinland. Two main factions settle and disagreements arise about how to deal with indigenous peoples. I’ve read the first three and wait for more. There are a few ancillary short stories available …
Loved it – am on the second batch of 3 and probably will be looking for any subsequent novels.
Wow grabs you and will not let go.
Brilliant a real honest to goodness page turner with characters you end up rooting for!! My fave book this year!
Love this series! She can’t write sequels fast enough. If you like post apocalyptic novels, you will love this one.
This book has a terrifying storyline with few uplifting moments or likeable characters to root for. Although I read a lot of this genre, to be fair to the author, I admit I set this one aside after reading only one quarter of the book. If I return to it maybe I will change my mind about the rating. The writing and editing is fine and other …
Angela White has created a series about life after a nuclear apocalypse that I simply have not been able to put down until each book has been read, then read again just before the next book in the series is released. I got the first book for free on Amazon and was hooked. The author has since done extensive editing and cleaning up the grammar and …
This book will keep you on your toes(: a very worth while read for anyone who enjoys post apocalyptic books
