Watching him break is the hardest thing I’ve ever endured.Oblivion violinist Margo Reece never expected to fall for a wild, deliciously hot rockstar like lead singer Simon Kagan.Never expected to watch Simon in agony and not know how to help him. Now he has to find his way back. Which means rehabilitation. Learning to sing in a whole new way. Giving up the booze. He’d already given up the … booze.
He’d already given up the women…all women other than her. Then that night had happened—the one she would never forget.
She knows he expects her to just walk away as she did after their very first night together.
Somehow she has to convince him she loves him. No matter what.
Even if his music is gone…forever.

Lost in Oblivion, Book 3.5
By: Taryn Elliott, Cari Quinn
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
I am loving this series and can not praise it enough. Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn continue to deliver interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. This book picks up right where “Destroyed” leaves off, Simon is rushed into surgery and everyone is worried and waiting to find out how he is. I loved how Margo took charge, set up R & R for him while he recouped. Also loved the one on one he had with Nick, it was great to see their special bond. It was great to see Margo and Simon grow closer and fall in love, it was also great to see Simon get his music groove back after seeing her audition for the Philharmonic. This book is well written and well plotted, there is a natural and beautiful flow to the story with many heartfelt moments, drama, a bit of angst and some hot romance. Thank you Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn for another awesome story, I am looking forward to what comes next for Simon and Margo and the rest of the Oblivion gang.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are fantastic narrators and voice artists. Their duet performance is amazing, it enhances the story to another level of greatness. They continue to bring these characters to life, give them their voice and personality and a whole lot of heart. Kai’s portrayal of Margo is spot on, as is Wen’s Simon, they really do them justice. It is always a pleasure to listen this dynamic duo!! Thank you for another great and entertaining listen
Consumed: Heart, body and soul.
Where Destroyed left us with unanswered questions, Consumed answered them.
Faced with the realization he may never sing again if he doesn’t follow the doctor’s strict orders, Simon needs to get away. But where? Everywhere he goes including the house he shares with his bandmates, there are questions. Questions he couldn’t or wouldn’t answer. Enter Margo. She has just the place, and after a little planning and some help from Lila, she whisks him away to a remote tropical oasis with not another soul in sight.
Can this be just what he need to get through this?
Is she the medicine he needs?
What I love most about this series and authors is their innate ability to put you right there in the story. With Seduced, I became a fan. A groupie. For every band, you have your favorite band member. The lead singer. The drummer. The lead guitarist. 😉 But as the series progressed and you learned about their lives, you became more invested. You started to care for them. They became family. You laughed with and at them. You were happy and wanted to shout for the rooftops when good things happened. You even cried and wanted to strangle a few of them.
Not that I need to say it, but, duh…… I fluffing loved Consumed!!!!!
Waiting for Shattered is going to be long and tortuous. Like watching paint dry. Can it be November yet?
Consumed picks up where Destroyed left off. I really don’t want to give too much away because it’ll spoil Destroyed if I talk about this one.
So, things you need to know:
Simon is in love with Margot. Which we knew in the beginning, but it takes him a long time to figure it out.
Margot is in love with Simon. Obvs. He brings out a side of her she didn’t know existed.
Simon and Margot have some seriously hot as fuck sex. Hot. All over the place. Whenever they want. They chemistry they share on stage bleeds into the bedroom–kitchen, hallway, stairwell, wherever.
You want to read this book. Or listen. I listened. Kai and Wen are fantastic. Simon and Margot are fantastic.
Read it. Enjoy it. Buy the next book.
