She’s gone over the river and through the woods, but who will protect her from the Big Bad Wolf?
Rojita is in trouble; all she needs to do is get her grandfather’s will to Abuela in Everland, but she’s being chased by El Lobo, one of the West’s most notorious gunslingers. It isn’t until she’s thrown herself head-long into danger that she realizes the old adage about frying pans and fires … fires applies. She’s in desperate need of a protector, and hires the first man who comes along to get her safely to Everland.
Bounty hunter Hank Cutter is more than ready to retire to a lonely little cabin in Arizona, to hang up his gun and find peace. He’ll begrudgingly help the reckless young woman get to the nearest train station, because he figures she’d get into even more trouble on her own. But when El Lobo struts back into his life—Hank still has the scars from their last encounter—he knows that he can’t leave Rojita at the gunslinger’s mercy. Maybe he’s nobler than he’d thought, because he’s soon setting a trap to save the lovely, impetuous Red. The only problem is that she’s still keeping a secret that could destroy his trust.

Mercifully short. Every word in Spanish was italicized and every word needed for emphasis was italicized as well. Ridiculous. The story book backdrop must have been invented by a 5th grader. I like fairy tale retellings but this was a big disappointment.
lTongune-in-cheek re-imagined fairy tale retild in a wild west setting
Seemed a bit juvenile to me. Perhaps intended to appeal to younger audience.
It was an easy and fun read. I liked the take on the Fairy Tale part of it.
A simple story but interesting.
fun take on a classic tale
Great new twist on Little Red Ridding Hood. I love the western feel. I could picture John Wayne playing Hank Cutter.
Was a good book.
Not at all what you would think but an excellent read.
A bit short and predictable but an entertaining read.
Nice twist on the fairy tale
It was good but very predictable.
Loved it!
Enjoyable. The characters were well built and like able. The idea of the cloak could have been explained a little more.
A fun twist on an old fairy tale.
There were some light fun moments but some predictability as well.
I thought it was silly. I started reading expecting a great re-telling of Little
Red Riding hood which has a lot of possibilities and the book was just plain
silly. I read about 40 pages a quit in disgust.
Ridiculous, I’ve read two of this sieries but no more for me.
I like a fairy tale retelling but this wasn’t one on my enjoyed list. The idea of the story could be cute but I felt like the entire story was really about physical attraction and physical reactions to the attraction. Not what I wanted to read about. Glad I didn’t pay money for this one.
Really interesting book.
