A secret society. Vampires. Supernaturals. And love. It’s my world, and I have to save it, but not from the monsters. Abigail Rose’s life was as predictable as the tides rising and falling, until Wes Hunter returned to Sandpoint. Then, the impossible became possible, the predictable became unpredictable, and those monsters became more than friends. Wes would do anything to keep Abigail safe, and … to keep Abigail safe, and Abigail would leave everything behind to save everyone she loves. A suspenseful romance, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality.

“Midnight Rose is addicting and so good. It’s a start of a new world, with so much going on. Author Dani Hart tells the story so beautifully, with teases of so many things, that’s to come. As she gives us bits of pieces of what we can look forward to, I was left so excited for the next installment of the Midnight Series.” ~Four Chicks Flipping Pages

”### 5 Huge Hashtags ### Wow… just wow ! I love it when a book blows me away. This was a total surprise for me, a paranormal world with a completely different edge to it. Loved it can not wait until the next book
I really like this book and was excited to start reading the second book. Now I am waiting on a possible 3rd book.
I thought this story was going to be predictable, but then things aren’t always what we think.
6 star rating.
It took me a bit to get into this book, but when I did, oh boy I couldn’t put it down! I strongly recommend this book. Even better, it’s suitable for teens. I know it’s hart finding appropriate books for that age.
This is a young adult paranormal read… Abigail Rose is a bit more mature than most of the other kids at school. She’s been through a bit more that’s also left her a bit broken. I really like Wes and I think he and Abby are perfect for each other. Then there’s Eli. I can’t say why, but something is just not quite right about him. I don’t trust him. And Abby’s own father has secrets…. what exactly is “The Order?”
I do recommend this clean read to anyone who enjoys paranormal intrigue.
I thought the book was rough in the beginning. A few editing errors. Abby and her girlfriend were too immature. The book got better and better. It really drew me into the story. Not so much into Cliffhangers but I am going to read the next book in the series. This book is truly a gem.
Took forever to read
excellant
This book is one to read when you want a good book to curl up with at night or a book to read during your free time. It’s one that makes you feel what the characters feel.
This was just ok for me. I deducted half a star due to the fact that there was only half a book – this annoys me to no end. It took a looooong time to get going and I found the FMC quite annoying – she’d be sobbing uncontrollably one minute and giggling the next. I really liked the two love interests though. The flashbacks appeared to be randomly thrown in which was also disorienting at times. Bottom line, I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it and i’m torn over whether I should actually buy the next one just to see what happens next (this one was free via Bookbub). There was a good premise.
For me personally, all I can say is I tried to read it. Not my taste.
Ugh. Teenage angst with secret societies and vampires. The worst. Buffy the vampire slayer gone wrong
Couldn’t get into it.
