Silicone, surgery, and Hollywood starlets.
The land of the stars was beckoning and I answered its call. Now that I was free, well, as free as anyone could be, I decided to pursue something for me. To grab life by the horns and ride that sucker until I found my place within it. That decision brought me back home to Malibu, California, where I awaited the beginning of this next phase in my … my journey.
The job? Create a segment surrounding Living Beautiful for celebrity doctor and daytime television guru, Dr. Hoffman. The man was known for his cunning wit, good looks, and no nonsense lifestyle. In a city that was filled with plastic Barbie dolls, and nothing you touched was real, I set out to find beauty. And in doing so, I found a lot more that, for me, for the man I loved, and for the rest of the nation.

Mia’s new job?
Mia was to create a segment surrounding Living Beautiful for the celebrity doctor and daytime television guru. Dr. Hoffman. Dr Hoffman was known for his charming a cunning wit, average good looks, had a no nonsense lifestyle. In a city that was filled with Barbie dolls, and nothing that you touched was real, Mia set out to find beauty. In doing this Mia found a lot more that. The man I loved Wes,also the rest of the nation.
Audrey Carlan is amazing. If i could give more than 5 * i would.
October gave us a new Mia, who decided to take charge of her life. Yes, she was still headed in the direction the escort service pointed her because even with her not needing to pay the debt, she was still guided by her aunt who ran the service. And when she gets to Malibu, she discovers she might just have a place among the rich and famous, a place as a host for a segment in a television show about Living Beautiful, something she takes to like a fish to water. But, it’s a challenging job, especially with what Wes is going through while away, shooting in another country where danger lurks in a way neither of them expected.
This series is a beautiful piece of art. I feel that way about a book when the author can paint beautiful, vivid and powerful images in my head. I also consider this, a piece of art because this author wrote this series and it is unlike any other series I have ever read. It kept my attention and I did not set the books down until I finished them, and that is not is not an easy task with me because of my work and I have 3 beautiful younger children. This series made me step back and ask myself if I should step out of my comfort zone more. Thank you for this beaitiful series.
I like where the story is taking us now. I enjoy reading about Mia and her new career and I love Mia and Wes together. I also like the people that Mia is taking with her into the rest of her life. She’s made long-lasting friendships and has people calling her family now.
The stuff with Wes and Gina is sad and troubling to read…there’s more triggers there for some people, so be warned about that.
All in all, if you’ve been enjoying the series, I think you will continue to do so. If you’ve been struggling with the series, keep going because it gets more in depth and more bulk to the story the further you go.
