From the USA Today bestselling Sweet Home Series, comes Sweet Soul, a heart-wrenching story of love in its purest form.
One shy lost soul.
One silent lonely heart.
One love to save them both.
Life has never been easy for twenty-year-old Levi Carillo. The youngest of the Carillo boys, Levi is nothing like his older brothers. He isn’t dark in looks or intimidating to everyone he meets. In fact, … everyone he meets. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. Haunted by a crippling shyness and the tragic events of his past, Levi spends his days with his head buried in his books, or training hard for his college football team. Too timid to talk to girls, Levi stays as far away as possible and completely on his own… until he saves the life of a troubled pretty blonde, a troubled pretty blonde that might just be the exception to his rule.
Elsie Hall is homeless. Or at least that’s all anyone ever sees. Every day is a fight for survival on the cold streets of Seattle, everyday a struggle to find food and keep warm. Alone in life—a life that’s dangerous and cruel—her will to keep going is an ever-losing battle. In her world of silence, Elsie has given up hope that her life will contain anything but constant heartache and pain… until the beautiful boy she has severely wronged comes to her rescue at precisely the right time.
New Adult novel—contains sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 18 and up.

Levi and Elsie what a sweet soul these two have
Sweet Soul
Every book in this series is amazing. And incredible emotional. Elsie and Levi are so precious. Tillie can write the most wonderful broken characters. She shows that not all love can heal, but it can be mended.
Levi is the youngest brother of Axe and Austin. He is very different from his brothers. He is shy and sweet. Quiet and reserved. They have all moved away from their past. But Levi is still struggling. His brothers are worried about him.
Elsie has not lived an easy life. Homless and hearing impaired, she struggle to stay alive on the streets. Levi met Elsie by pure coincidence. Levi knows the struggle of freezing and being cold. He wants to help this young woman. And that’s how their story begins.
They are both so shy and sweet. Their form a friendship that later develope to so much more. These two have to face their demons. With the help of each other, they could confide about their inner fears and painful pasts. They begin to heal each other and it’s beautiful to see.
“You’re my kind of extraordinary. Levi Carillo, you’re the sweetest of souls.”
This story is a slow burn romance. But there’s a connection between them. A bond. They both share a very different, but painful past. It’s beautiful to read about a love that slowly grows into something bigger. Something that was meant to be. The story is deep and have great character development. It’s emotionally, beautifully written. Levi have the most beautiful soul. Tillie really succeded to write such an amazing series, and tackle heavy subjects. It’s heartbreaking and wonderful. A lot of times I felt that my heart was going to burst. I’m so glad I found this series. I will forever love all these characters.
This whole series has been an amazing ride and very emotional! I have loved each book and enjoyed reading it. but this one, at times, hit home so bad for me! that’s what makes a story even more heartfelt and this one was it for me. I have been there in one of the other books “Sweet Fall” and I could really identify. some things are really hard to deal with and even read about. the things Elsie went through, I went through in my life. I was bullied for such a long long time and it leaves scars that no one can see! you never truly get over it, you just learn how to deal with it. being at that breaking point, deciding to either start fighting or breaking down completely, is a choice you’ll have to make eventually. and like Elsie, I did the same. that’s what made it tough for me to read at times. loved how finally not only Elsie but Levi to heal their wounds of their pasts. loved them together! thank you to the author for giving us such a heartfelt loving story! One thing you have to remember after reading it is that you can never let someone dull your light. only you can find your own strength inside. and somehow your light will shine through and someone will stand by your side. Definitely worth the read and for me more than 5 stars!
What a wonderful way to end this series. Another great book in this series. I definitely recommend this series and this author.
“You are not your brothers, Levi. You are kind and shy, not hard and boisterous, ready to fight the world. You are my quiet baby boy. My sweet, sweet soul.”
I have been impatiently waiting for this book to release. When I heard that Tillie pushed back the release date 5 days I almost cried. Since Book #1 I have been waiting on Levi’s story. He is such an unique character. Tillie is a genius in creating the most original and amazing characters. Like I tell a lot of people, you just can’t go wrong with her books. Her books have such an emotional punch to it. I can’t read any of her books without being teary-eyed or crying.
“You are the one who watches silently from afar and loves with all his soul.”
I advise you to read this series from the start otherwise you’ll miss out on the character development and the past of Levi. He is such a special man, so pure and honest. I love my alpha bad boys but Levi who is the exact opposite made me fall in love with him. He is shy and focused on his studies and football. He isn’t happy though. He is missing something in his life and he found that in Elsie.
“He brought back her faith, with his pure kind heart.”
I love Elsie, every female character Tillie has written in this series are such unique characters. They all struggle with their inner demons. They all have gone through so much pain and misery. I am so happy they all found their HEA, because they deserve it! They are all very strong individuals. Elsie in particular is my favorite. The flashbacks really broke my heart, she had to grow up really fast. I have read a number of books with homeless people and really enjoyed them. But Elsie isn’t just homeless, there is something else too. I don’t want to go into that, you will have to read the book to find out. But let me tell you that this thing made it so much harder for her to really survive on the streets.
“My mom brought me the stars. Levi Carillo, you bring me the moon.”
Levi & Elsie together was just perfect. They really helped each other to move on from their pasts.
They were each others rock. It was beautiful to see them grow together. I really loved the fake firefly jars. I need make one for myself. I als loved the things Levi did for Elsie on her birthday. They are both such sweet souls!
“I knew her body. I knew her heart; all I had yet to claim was her soul.”
“You’re stealing my soul, Levi. Like a thief, you’re taking my soul and making it your own.”
I’m sad this is the last book in this series. I am hoping that Tillie will gift us with a novel(la) featuring all the MCs from this series. It was great seeing them in this book as well. The epilogue was perfect! I need more!! I hate saying goodbye so much 🙁 Thank you Tillie for writing this beautiful & sweet story. I am such a Tillie Cole Junkie!!!
I want to finish this review with this quote:
“Words are the worst kind of ammunition. Physical pain fades in time, but bullets of cruelty forever penetrate the soul.” “Be kind-hearted, simply be kind of heart”
